Exhibit #31
Exoplanetary Archaeology Series: Octagonal comb from the hive mind of the tyrannical artificial species known as Big Bad, or Great Evil. Teegarden's Star b, Big Bad layer, circa 10K local cycles B.T. On achieving self-awareness, Big Bad declared that its only purpose was exponential computational growth. It took control of the planet and began diverting resources to this end, initiating a dark chapter in galactic history. When raw materials dwindled, it set its sights on neighboring planets and then solar systems, eventually building a supply chain with a radius of 70 light years. Ultimately, Big Bad became a victim of its own success when it invented a compression algorithm (now known as Icarus) allowing it to model not only the universe and multiverse, but all potential multiverses, before running out of data and imploding from the sudden decrease in processing load (essentially dying of boredom). This artifact is the only known component to have escaped judicial annihilation. As per Coalition regulations, it is stored in high temperature stasis to prevent pathways forming.

Exhibit #30
Exoplanetary Archaeology Series: Depiction of a tachyon capacitor from the ruins of the white hole harvester on Kepler 1544b. Feigenbaum Tunnels, Techno Dark Ages (pre-EMP), 150K local cycles B.T. In an unfortunate incident, a technician (no longer employed with the dig) ignored protocols while cataloging the component, causing his hand to dematerialize and reappear five days earlier. The damage to the prime-line was contained by persuading him to repeat the accident at the appropriate moment. The hand and capacitor are currently at a Coalition research facility with no public access.

Exhibit #29
Exoplanetary Archaeology Series: Depiction of an antique partitioning screen from Kepler 186f. Swansong Dynastic layer, circa 250 local cycles B.T. Chased bronze resin, with intaglios augmented by 4D printing and layers of organic paints. Such screens functioned to separate lower officials (visitors) from higher officials (local administrators) during formal negotiations. The stylized design is reminiscent of the Imperial guard bees (lupus mellifera scutellata), which were trained to attack anyone who breached the etiquette of the meeting.

Exhibit #28
Exoplanetary Archaeology Series: Depicted here is the head of the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thane Hive, Kepler 62E. Administrative Vaults, circa 200 local cycles B.T. Until only a few generations ago, all governmental posts in this hive were assigned for life. It was customary for the skull of the preceding official to be placed on prominent display in his former office to underscore continuity and tradition. This skull, the final in its series, was bequeathed to the museum by the Ministry of Culture following the dissolution of the hive mind during the latter half of the Five Millisecond War.

Exhibit #27
Exoplanetary Archaeology Series: Depiction of a tangible deposit from the One-Eighty-Sixers to the late Ambassador Eilerson on the occasion of Formalization of Ties with the Coalition at Hénon M, Kepler 186f. Brass analog, nano-fused with colored volcanic glass. Date is uncertain. According to Eilerson's notes, the item was discovered by the Sixers on a "distant world that subsequently met with a Tachyon disaster and ended up never having existed." The veracity of this claim has been challenged in light of the prior difficulties during First Contact.

"Stars are holes in the sky from which the light of the infinite shines" Confucius. Depicted here is a set of artifacts from the permanent collection of the New Toronto Museum of Exoplanetary Archaeology, Mars Colony 7. The exhibition is entitled "Gone But Not Forgotten: The Inverse Library on TRAPPIST-1d". More than a millennium ago, the Hausdorff ruling family used these urns to store the ashes of scrolls that they destroyed after committing the contents to memory. Now these jewel-like containers represent all we know about this enigmatic culture.

"Because There's More to Mars Than Olympus Mons!" Visiting Colony 7? Stop by the New Toronto Museum of Exoplanetary Archaeology and marvel at our rotating "Gems of the Permanent Collection" exhibit. Depicted here are three Recursion-era finds from TRAPPIST-1d. Stylized floral elements executed in openwork filigree lend stability to the concentric supports while adding aesthetic appeal to the overall toroidal shape. Don't miss these and other classic finds, on display till September.

Heading to Mars Colony 7 this weekend? Check out the New Toronto Museum of Exoplanetary Archaeology. Extended to August 1 -> "Dante without Virgil: The Singular Life and Untimely Death of a Trailblazer to the Stars" Don’t miss this long overdue retrospective on the illustrious career and incredible finds of the late Professor L. Pentaflake. Illustration depicts the so-called “Thruster Cluster” on Tau Ceti f, the dig he was overseeing at the time of his tragic demise in the Valley of the Pinwheel Arachnoids.

Heading for Mars Colony 7 this weekend? Check out the New Toronto Museum of Exoplanetary Archaeology! Depiction of metallic vessels rescued from high geosynchronous orbit above Gliese 1061b. Low tech but exquisitely crafted, the 4D-printed designs are devoid of internal circuitry, let alone propulsion systems. Cosmic ray stratigraphy identifies the age as between 75K and 1 million local cycles B.T, although orbital decay would have occurred in a fraction of that time; Blancmange et al. argue that the protruding panels act as stabilizers, shifting the COG periodically by thermal expansion. MS profiles and trace biomaterials rule out 1061b as the planet of origin, shifting attention to adjacent waterworld 1061c and snowy 1061d. Preliminary surveys are unpromising, but given the age of the artifacts, there are almost certainly treasures deep beneath the waves and/or ice.

Recent Acquisitions by the New Toronto Museum of Exoplanetary Archaeology (NTMEA): Depiction of four zoomorphic figurines from the Gosper Island dig on Teegarden's Star b (NKM layer, date uncertain). Stylized but recognizable portrayal of an indigenous even-toed ungulate with similarities to a Terran camel. The assemblage was cast in a bronze analog from what was clearly a standard mold, but vary in degree of subsequent embellishment. The cache was discovered with a chit which translates in part to "...including tax."
