Sunbathing Photos: Paul Rousteau Captures Public Sunbathers In 'Swiss, Sweat & Sun' Series (PHOTOS)
What would summer be without the obligatory onslaught of nearly nude beach bodies, often over-tanned and glistening with sweat? Photographer Paul Rousteau captures the strange beauty to such fleshy oversharing in his summer series entitled, "Swiss, Sweat & Sun."
In 2007, Rousteau snapped candid shots of public sunbathers in all their brazen glory. The resulting photographs, voyeuristic yet non-threatening, resemble the imaginary lovechild of Rineke Dijkstra and TMZ paparazzi. We recently stumbled upon the shots over at It's Nice That and immediately wished we were on the beach.

From Mother Nature Network's Jennifer Nelson:
"We're here in the middle of the Amazon jungle today," booms Chris Kilham, an adventurer and medicine hunter, as he's about to show us the benefits of maqui berries or green coffee bean extract or any number of up-and-coming plants in medicinal healing.
Kilham, whom the New York Times calls part-David Attenborough, part-Indiana Jones, is an ethnobotanist who travels the world hunting for medicinal plants that can be used in novel ways. More than anything, he's an expressive, talk-with-his-hands pulpit-pounding advocate for herbs.

St. Louis City, County Plan To Join Forces On Job Creation
For decades now, Skinker Boulevard has been a dividing line in the St. Louis region.
East of Skinker, you’re in St. Louis city, dealing with one local government. West of Skinker, it’s St. Louis County, and a whole different government.
Now both governments are moving to erase that line, at least when it comes to efforts to grow the economy.

Grab-N-Go Bikini Baristas Accused Of Performing Strip Shows
Some of the employees of the Grab-N-Go espresso stands may be taking the name of their company a bit too literally.
Three bikini baristas have been arrested Wednesday in Everett, Wa., for allegedly selling strip shows to customers instead of cappucinos.
The violations occurred at two Grab-N-Go stands, which is where several baristas were charged with prostitution back in 2009, according to MyNorthwest.com.

Republican Strategists Doubt Wisdom Of Hammering Obama Over Benghazi
Republican strategists questioned why the party is continuing to focus on the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, in a Thursday story by NPR.
"I missed the meeting among Republicans where it was decided this would become an angry cause célèbre that should be pursued at all costs and with no holds barred," Republican strategist Ed Rogers told NPR. "I think there is Benghazi fatigue -- a lot of conscientious followers of the news that are somewhat bewildered by why this issue has lingered."
Juan Zarate, a counterterrorism adviser to George W. Bush, told the news outlet that the current focus on "talking points and the way that the administration portrayed the incidents in the early days after the attacks" has resulted in a lack of focus on more important information around the threat of terrorism.

Rob Gronkowski's $9,615 Receipt From Vegas Nightclub Will Astound You (PHOTO)
It takes a true Patriot to push this kind of money back into the economy.

The 23-year-old's night out, complete with shirtless wrestling, included a $1,595 magnum bottle of Perrier-Jouet brut and some Grey Goose (as well as $32 in Crown Royal that didn't quite do as much damage).

Detroit City Council Approves 10% Pay Cut Through Furloughs For Union Workers
Detroit City Council this morning approved legislation forcing a 10% pay cut on about 600 unionized city workers.
There was virtually no discussion on the matter before the 5-2 vote in favor of a resolution to impose the cuts through unpaid furlough days.
The pay cut is part of Mayor Dave Bing's cost-cutting strategy to help solve the city's financial crisis. Council's approval was required to impose the pay cut because negotiations with unions over the issue have reached an impasse, according to the Bing administration. But a local labor leader disputed the city's portrayal and said he is ready to negotiate.

Tony Zamazal, Texas Student, Says School Won't Let Him Wear Dress To Senior Prom
A Texas-based teen is battling his high school after being told he won't be allowed to wear a dress to his senior prom.
Tony Zamazal, who says he's been wearing women's clothing as often as he can in recent months, had hoped to make a formal debut in a dress, heels and a wig at Spring High School's end-of-year dance. After asking an assistant principal if he could attend the prom in that attire, he was immediately shot down, KHOU 11 News is reporting.
"He told me it just wasn’t in the dress code. [He said] women wore dresses, and men wore tuxedos,” Zamazal told the news station. He went on to note, "It’s not okay to just tell people, they can’t be the way that they are. It’s not just a choice of the way you look. It’s more of who you are.”
