April Fool's Day

Have you ever wondered how this holiday came to be? Maybe you don't really care to know and you're just hoping no one attempts to "trick" you today, so your plans are just to stay behind the computer screen. Either way you're here with me, and today is April Fool's Day! Interestingly today is also Holy Thursday, but I will not write about that in the same post!

Holy Thursday

Today is Holy Thursday or otherwise known as Maundy Thursday. The word Maundy has several translations and theories ranging from latin mendicare, which means to beg, to the phrase rising from medieval customs.

But I'm sure you're wondering what Holy Thursday represents, and I believe that's the important part. Holy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper with Jesus Christ and the Apostles.
