In an unfortunate and ugly series of events Mike Flynn resigned late Monday as National Security Advisor. Obviously some intelligence agencies are listening to the phone conversations of the Trump administration or at least part of them. These leaks are the highest sorts of leaks you can have in the U.S. government. These are police state tactics and it’s not the first time this has happened since President Donald Trump has taken office. Flynn never talked about sanctions with the Russian ambassador and did nothing wrong. The real scandal is who within the federal government is taking intercepted communications and selectively leaking them out. In addition, it’s a shame that the Trump administration on the first attack buckles. The left can’t pick off Trump so they are attacking his staff. In axing Flynn, Trump is undermining himself. Flynn had been preparing to publicize elements of the Iran Deal unknown to the American public. Ronald Reagan would not have put up with this for one minute. The left now knows how it is all going to work and they will start with the administration’s weakest link, Reince Priebus. Now more leaks are going to come forward attacking other Trump staffers. Finally, Mark Meckler, President of Citizens for Self Governance.,calls in to discuss the latest on the Convention of States with South Dakota voting against it because of fake conservative groups.

The left is attacking Gen Michael Flynn over unproven allegations that he discussed sanctions with the Russian ambassador before President Trump took office. The media and the Left is going to use leaks from the Obama administration hold-overs to smear every one of Trump’s staffers and confidants. This is guerilla warfare by bureaucracy. Democrats like the late Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi and others committed far worse acts – advising America’s enemies – with no word from the liberal media. It’s time for Trump to tell the American people what the Democrats are up to and that liberals are trying to destroy his administration one cabinet member at a time. Trump needs to stand behind Flynn like Ronald Reagan did with his Attorney General Edwin Meese. These people attacking Trump names are the alt-left. Later, Professor Paul Kengor calls in to talk about Ted Kennedy and his treasonous appeal to the Soviets in the 1980’s. Finally, the Department of Justice is appealing the 9th Circuit Court ruling to the full 9th Circuit on the immigration executive order. They have nothing to lose. If they win that is great, but if they lose they can pursue other options such as the Supreme Court or issuing another Executive Order.

Courts can be brilliant and can be wholly irresponsible. This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to anyone given the course of American history, and specifically, cases such as Korematsu v. United States. Yet, the very liberals who so often undermine rule of law and trash the judicial system are now crying foul the minute anyone dare critique the Ninth Circuit Court’s recent ruling on Trump’s Immigration Order. Biased much? Korematsu was forced by the Supreme Court to live in an internment camp during World War II and he was a U.S. citizen. Now the Ninth Circuit Court, operating upon the same constitutional premise, has effectively decided that everyone in the world is afforded due process rights in America. Talk about open borders. How can a constitutional premise be decided in such incredibly different ways? Well, perhaps when the courts are politically motivated. Self-respecting liberals should admit that their anti-Trump politics are the overwhelming factor in the recent court decisions. This kind of stolen sovereignty must end. After that, the purpose of the Constitution is to protect the people and establish a working and functional Republic. It’s not about a living and breathing constitution. If you are claiming a living and breathing Constitution you are saying the government has maximum flexibility. This is the prefect prescription for tyranny. In addition, the NFL is now saying that if the state of Texas passes a statute that boys must use the boy’s room and girls use the girl’s room, they will boycott the state. The NFL bureaucracy and commissioner, Roger Goodell are out of control. All the state of Texas is trying to do is bring things back to normalcy. Goodell is going to hurt himself because the American people are sick and tired of being bullied.

The ruling from the 9th circuit of appeals on President Trump’s travel ban was both pathetic and predictable. The court is now conferring due process and constitutional rights onto a class of individuals that don’t have it. They’re not citizens, they’re not permanent legal residents. They have a visa and the government can yank the visa whenever they want to. This is what happens when you have a bunch of clowns in a black robe, with a couple of law clerks who sit there thinking this is a debating society. These radical liberal judges just nationalized a big chunk of nation security. We are becoming a country that are ruled by people who are not connected to our founding principles. Some are just waking up to the fact that we have already been at war with the left before Trump got into office. We could have used their help years ago. After that, Federalist 78 by Alexander Hamilton makes it clear that the judiciary is the weakest of the three branches. Congress has the power to remove and the executive branch the power to appoint. No attempt to impeach a justice is non-practical and you are attacked if you dare to raise it. The statists have convinced the people that the courts are the most powerful of the three branches. The leftists love it because when they are out of power, they can rely on the courts. No matter who the president is, they continue to advance their agenda. Obama may be out of office but his surrogates remain.

Jeff Sessions was confirmed as Attorney General, by a 52-47 vote. Sen Elizabeth Warren was accusing Jeff Sessions of discouraging black voters from voting which is false. Other than abusing the King name to advance a lousy political agenda, what has Warren done for her state or country? The answer is nothing. What has Sens Chuck Schumer, Corey Booker and the Democrat Party done for the black community? The irony is that Sessions has done more than all of them put together. Sessions was involved in prosecuting the head of the KKK in Alabama, got the death penalty for him and desegregated schools in his state. The Democrats don’t speak for all the blacks in this country or minorities, they speak for themselves. Also, the 7 nations that are part of the temporary ban are there for a reason. Either they have governments hostile to us or no government at all. The leftist lawyers and judges can throw around these phrases about the Constitution all the time. However, the Constitution does not apply outside the borders of this country. After that, some Republicans want to put a tax on carbon dioxide and air. Everyone who has completed a 5th grade education knows carbon dioxide is necessary. We would die without greenhouse gases. Rather than getting a bill on slashing taxes, they are working on this. The Republicans and business leaders calling themselves the Climate Leadership Council are responsible. This carbon tax effort, promoted by Hank Paulson and James Baker, aims at pushing President Donald Trump to put a tax on carbon in exchange for abolishing a slew of environmental regulations. A carbon tax has nothing to do with conservatism. Later, Mark Meckler calls in to talk about the Convention of States and how Article V is being opposed in South Dakota by the Concerned Women of America. These women are spreading lies about a runaway convention. Also, some of the legislators in South Dakota are either afraid of a runaway convention or think that Trump will fix everything. These legislatures have the power and the duty o get behind Article V. Finally, Rich Little calls in to talk about his book, “Little by little. People I’ve Known and Been”.

Dan Bongino, Contributing Editor at Conservative Review fills in for Mark. Liberals don’t see the world the way conservatives do. They view everything and every battle as an existential threat. Conservatives and Republicans seem to think we can develop a good rapport with these people, but that is not possible. Liberals don’t see fights on the immigration ban, tax cuts, and Betsy DeVos as little. Conservatives see the fights with liberals as not a big deal and that they will live to fight another day. Until we understand that liberals see everything as an ideological fight to the death, we will lose. After that, everyone was expecting Lady Gaga to bash President Donald Trump at the Super Bowl half time show, but she didn’t and Liberals are going wild. She did what she was there to do, perform and sing. Later, the Muslim ban is a focus group tested talking point, promoted by the Democrats which is fake. There is no Muslim ban just a temporary ban issued for national security purposes. In addition, the courts have no sovereignty over this issue. According to section 212 F of the Immigration and Nationality Act, a president may suspend the entry of all foreigners for as long as is deemed necessary. The judge addressing this, James Robart has no standing. This is not a fight about immigration or Muslims but about destroying America’s borders and getting a judge to wipe out the president’s power to enforce the law. If there is no limit on judicial power, what is next? It’s amazing that a Christian baker in Oregon has no constitutional right to live out her beliefs and not bake a cake for a gay wedding, yet an Iranian has a constitutional right to immigrate to this country.

The reaction by police to the riots at UC Berkeley were not fulsome because the left wing mayor held the cops back, and the left wing governor Jerry Brown did not send in the National Guard. Ronald Reagan as governor was willing to put down riots in Berkeley during 1969. Why can’t mayors and governors be more like him? Robert Reich is lying about the protestors who were burning UC Berkeley. According to him, these were right wing protestors and affiliated with Breitbart News. Does Reich have evidence to back this up? Of course not, his claim is completely false. This type of rioting grew out of the Obama years. After that, Senior White House advisor Stephen Miller and others like to compare President Trump to Andrew Jackson and William Jennings Bryan. He and Steve Bannon are pushing this Democrat protectionist stuff and likening Trump to Andrew Jackson. However, Jackson would never have supported Trump’s protectionist policies. Why is Miller skipping over Reagan to compare to Trump to Jennings Bryan who was on the left socialist wing of the Democrat Party? Finally, Texas Governor Greg Abbott calls in to discuss his blocking of $1.5 million in grant money to Travis County over their sanctuary city policy.

Conservatives have something going for them, consistency. We have certain principles, live by them and believe in them. No politician or employer can take them away or give them to us. Even if you voted for Donald Trump, you want him to do conservative things. Even populists nationalists are applauding Trump for his conservative moves. Also, Sen Ted Cruz calls in to discuss Neil Gorsuch, Betsy DeVos, and the confirmation hearings. Cruz said although the Democrats may delay the confirmation of President Trump’s Cabinet nominees and his pick for the Supreme Court, ultimately they are going to lose. The Senate is going to be the battleground for fighting these confirmation fights. The Democrats right now are in a state of denial, and a state of rage. They cannot believe this election result and they’re angry at the American people. After that, if the Trump Administration is going to compare itself to Reagan then two things it will not do are pursue massive tariffs or infrastructure spending. Trump met with Harley Davidson executives on Thursday and gave a very thin explanation of what Reagan did for Harley in the 1980’s. Reagan said yes we need temporary tariffs and free trade but rejected the Steve Bannon and Wilbur Ross view of protectionism and trade. Reagan did not believe in tariffs and that is why he brought up Smoot Hawley during a speech on free trade. Trump and his senior advisor should at least get their facts straight. Finally, China and communism are on the move and Trump is duking it out with Australia. Australia has always been a close ally of ours. Our allies were looking forward to a new president - this is ridiculous.
