The year is currently eighteen-o-eight. It is midnight and I am the only member of the order that is still awake. I have been sitting upon my bunk writing in my notebook the tales of my immortal existence. I look up every now and then to gaze out the window, up at the glowing moon and the glitter stars that illuminate from the sky, for I often wonder when will I once again be able to return to my celestial home. Closing my book, I lay back on my bed and listened to the others of my order as they sleep. My brothers were at peace in their dreams, absorbed with thoughts of hope and love in our creator. Emotions that I had repressed, for I was an immortal soul that search extensively for both in Heaven and when I found them at last here on earth, I fled. It was a mistake that I would live to regret. Although, it was not the first. I had made so many grave mistakes before time began and I was positive that I would make many more in the future. As one a part of the other, which the other is not, the angelic one of their make has settled into a vessel possessing the supreme nature of God’s goodness and the might and valor of a champion Knight. A savior of lost souls vested and collared in the revered position of a Roman Catholic Priest. A man of God committed and destined to bring an end to the cursed evil, which has root itself inside his family tree, and taken the lives of all his ancestors and cherished loved ones.
The path of one will be tested by the seductive trappings of a witch and a previous born of the flesh existence that will pull into question the true quest of the guardian of the moonlit sky.
Book II in The Moon God Trilogy has the divided sons of the bloodline at odds with each other and within themselves by a bond felt to last throughout infinity. Will these sworn enemies find a way to unite and end the conflict that threatens all in existence? Or will bringing the two together open the gates of eternal Hell and create a new and more powerful God?
One man of the cloth has been birthed with the faith and fortitude to see evil undone, but the truth as to its exact origination and seemingly indestructible existence may lie elsewhere and guide the heart of an anointed hero away from a world he never truly knew.

1st novel in the entertainment series - Autumn Colors
Roman - (1st novel in the Autumn Colors series). A fiction novel by Marlene K. Slade is about a male model's dynamic life and remarkable career.
Excerpt from Roman: Fashion Week in New York offered the same old stresses. From a sketch on a sheet of paper to a basic pattern, then to a full finished fashion outfit. Models were screened through thousands of photos and picked for fittings. Classic cotour, bomber jackets, sweat shirts, underwear, whatever was being displayed on stage must look its absolute best. Accessories, hair and make up, everything must go together well. Assistance’s made up ideas backstage to perfect shows, last minute checks for details were done by everyone involved. Clothes were kept on the racks in clear wrapped covers to protect them for wear. The design sketches displayed on the wall of each dressings station were there to give the models an idea of how the garment is suppose to wear on their bodies. Once outfitted, the first model started the show. On the runway veteran models and newcomers to the catwalk strutted their stuff to music, down a narrow aisle of flash photography, observing eyes, and fashion critics. Something that takes months to plan becomes a show that is over in twenty-minutes. The applause, interviews before and after, and the editorial reviews, sum up much of the rest. The show closes and designers return and do it all next year. Modeling was a vicious cycle. New clothes and new faces changed the runway shows from year to year. Only but a small few men and women working the catwalk became supermodels. Only one surpassed the rest as a mega-model.
