Daniel I. Russell – Free Audio Book
One of my all-time favourite authors, Daniel I. Russell, has an audio book out if you'd like to go and have a listen. He writes horror, so if that's your bag, baby, then head HERE.
I 'met' Daniel years ago on an online writing forum, and his enthusiasm and drive to pursue his writing career always astounded me. Back then, I didn't have the confidence he has and couldn't imagine being so focused. I always thought that out of all of us on that group, Daniel would be the one to hit the big time. ...

Faith in Human Nature Restored – Both Ways
Just a short one, but I wanted to tell you about what happened this morning. While in the long queue at the checkout in the frozen food store, I stood and took the time to have a think about my latest book. A queue formed behind me, and I turned to see an old guy with only a few items in his basket. Me? I had a trolley full. So, as I always do if this happens, I let the guy with the basket go in front of me to save him waiting so long. Anyway, he thanked me, called me a star, and then said...

Monday Mumbles
I had a brilliant, productive weekend. Isn't it great when things work out the way you planned? Saturday I finally managed my scene in the co-author book with Jaime Samms. We're at around 41K, and the finale and epilogue are Jaime's babies. It's been a great experience working with Jaime. I've said it before, but we bounce off one another and have the same ideas as to where the story is going. Jaime writes her parts in 1st person—love it!—and her character, Paul, is one half of an abusive...

That Darn TV! For Those Addicted…
Those who have read the AWH magazine know I wrote a feature every month called That Darn TV! I stopped watching TV years ago, but lately I've been lured back to 'the box' by a few programmes that I got hooked on. It started when Hubby bought the first season of Heroes, and I was held spellbound by all the seasons until the last one where my interest waned and I didn't bother watching the last few. The light went out of it for me. Besides, by that time the latest season came along I'd...

Glimmer. OUT NOW!
Lee and Ryan, eighteen-year-old men, admit the love they have shared since childhood is more than just friendship.

After an explosive revelation, Lee leaves home...
EC Novella Acceptance!
After a week of me feeling very down and out of sorts, my angel editor at EC has taken it all away by giving me an acceptance on my latest novella. I'm so happy I could squeal and dance. What a difference a day makes, eh? I'd love to tell you more about the book but that would possibly give me away, so just know it's a hot little number that I thoroughly enjoyed writing due to the love element between the heroine and hero. I like showing how two people are meant to be together and that...

Writing, A Day Off & A Couple of Covers
Thursday is usually my day off because my daughter, Nat, comes to visit. Unless I've got too much to do, steeped in a book, I take this day to forget about writing-based stuff and just be me. The problem is, my body and mind usually give up on me when I slow down or rest, and Thursdays see me dog tired by about three o'clock.
Anyway, I've been writing this week and gave myself two days to finish Burning. Unfortunately, as is usually the way with me, the book will be longer than my estimate...

Happy Release Day, Jambrea Jo Jones!
Attorney Becca Scott doesn't have time for a relationship. She's worked hard to prove herself to the old boys' club and now it's her time to shine. She certainly doesn't have time for the tempting Samson Roust. He's totally lickable, but sex with the boss is never a good idea—unless you draw up a contract to protect yourself. At least, it seems like a great idea to Becca.
Samson, however, knows his passion can't be contained by a silly document. He lures Becca to his house for a meeting and...
