Mythic Dungeons – The Climb #652
One of the reason doing dungeons causes me such unreasonable levels of anxiety is the fact that, at the start, I dont know the dungeon. Each boss has their own mechanic, there are favoured routes through the dungeon, there are times to avoid things on the floor and times when to strand in it.

Professions – The Climb #650
My plan with professions in Shadowlands has always been quite straightforward.
The first step was to get all the professions across a number of characters, including some bonus dual gathers where it made sense.
The second step was to get all those characters through The Maw intro so they could learn the Shadowlands profession upgrade and begin to progress through the new expansions recipes.

It seems crazy that one of the features I think Ill most enjoy during Shadowlands is a feature Ive just not had a lot of time for just yet.

One Week Down – The Climb #648
So Ive been going hard at Shadowlands for a week now. My aims were to get a couple of characters levelled as well as getting all my alts through The Maw and picking up their professions so Im feeling pretty accomplished.
Yet, there is so much to do that Im still feeling behind.

Gearing Up – The Climb #647
You might be mistaken for thinking that playing Shadowlands was as simple as getting a character to level 60 and that was that. From there on in its all happy times.
But it doesnt stop there.
There are lots of levels in Warcraft: Your actual level, the level of your professions, the level of reputation with any of the various groups your encounter, the level of your gear.

Threads Of Fate – The Climb #646
Im already leveling my second character through Shadowlands.
Whilst my main is busy unlocking things and doing the dailies of the endgame, Im alternating time between him and my alliance leveling alt.

The Alt Army – The Climb #645
My long term plans for Shadowlands is to level all my 18 max level toons (or at least what were max level until last week).
This is obviously going to take some time.

Revendreth – The Climb #644
As expected, I hit level 60 within a few minutes of arriving in Revendreth. However, I still needed to complete the campaign to choose my covenant and unlock the endgame.
Id always intended to go Revendreth as a covenant. From an RP perspective it was always this or Maldraxxus, and whilst Maldraxxus was probably a stronger RP choice for a Death Knight, the fact that I spec as blood made this covenant seem a more logical choice.

Aldenweald – The Climb #643
Im now just short of hitting max level. Its likely Ill hit it within the first couple of quests within Revendreth.
Ordinarily this would not be a problem. Ive had plenty of expansions where the final zone isnt explored until months after launch. Shadowlands is a little different though. You need to complete the main quests in each zone before you can unlock a lot of the end game stuff.
