Truth's Launch Party - Part Deux!
And... because today is my in-person launch party (at Boxcar Books), and - I was having one heck of a time figuring out the whole getting from a non-compatible camera to my iMac & then getting the proper format (and length!) for Youtube - I'm sorry to say that my reading video (which will more than likely be 2 videos) will not be up until tomorrow!
So - please enjoy these Q&A's (I sure enjoyed answering them!) and leave me a comment if you'd like a signed bookplate for your copy of Truth! AND - stay tuned tomorrow for the reading!

Today is the official release day for my second book baby, TRUTH, the sequel to XVI!
It's a Book!

It's TRUTH's Launch Week!
Today at The League of Extraordinary Writers, Mike Mullin (author of the incredible ASHFALL) introduces TRUTH! Hop on over and take a look at what he has to say about the upcoming sequel to XVI.
And, I'm over at A Tale of Many Reviews with a list of items my teen-self might have been selling at a garage sale! What do you suppose those might be?
I'm busy working on my upcoming launches – both in-person at Boxcar Books here in Bloomington, and virtual – right here!
One person suggested that for virtual food I could post some recipes of things that I might be serving at my in-person launch. So… here is one thing I absolutely LOVE! I'm not sure if I'll have time to make these, but if you do, eat a few in my honor!
As the week goes along, I'll let you know how things are coming with the Virtual part of all this. I can tell you right now – I am no movie editor! Aaack! Oh well… I'll put together some "out-takes" for laughs!

It's almost Party Time!!!
Hard to believe, but it's been just a little over a year ago that XVI was released. And this month (10 days from now!) the sequel, TRUTH, is being released. I know not everyone can make it to my Book Launch Party at Boxcar Books in Bloomington, so I've decided to hold a Virtual Book Launch Party! Right here!
There are certain things you have to have for a Book Launch – an Author ready to read from the new book,
some Q&A with the author,
and good food/drink!
(I learned all that from last year's launch! It was so much fun!!!)
Well, I haven't figured out virtual food & drink (although you never know what I might come up with between now & the 20th!) However, I have figured out reading and Q&A. But, y'all are going to have to help me with the Q&A part!
Please leave me a question in the comments – preferably about writing and or XVI/TRUTH – and I'll be answering them on the 20th – in (virtual) person!
Oh! I forgot one thing! There's always BOOK SIGNING going on at a launch party!
So… I have bookplates on the way! And if you attend the party – you will get a signed bookplate! Even if you're overseas!
So – let's get this party prep going! Please leave me your questions! I can't wait to "talk" with all of you guys! YAY!!!

TRUTH – the sequel to XVI – will launch on January 19th. And, there will be a party – actually TWO parties – on the 20th!
If you're in or near Bloomington – the in-person party will be at Boxcar Books! (Party Invite)

Friday Five - Moving Forward
1. Reflection isn't bad - but rumination is counterproductive.
2. Living in the present is really all a body can do - but you can only appreciate it if you're thinking in the now (not the past or the future.)
3. That does not mean that visualizing your life as you want it to be isn't good - it does mean that you don't want to dwell on that visualization because that would be reinforcing the idea that you don't already have everything you need!
4. Plants should not wish to live in my house (because, well... they don't - live that is!)
5. There's not much better than a cat on the lap!
