Bankers Rule The World

To anyone who has been paying attention, the boot of tyranny is firmly pressing upon our faces. The leaders of all Western nations are on board with a globalist agenda that is moving onto a more aggressive phase of control. We have been ruled over by a tiny elite for a long time, but now it’s absolutely clear to even normal people who really is in charge.
In your quest to know the truth of who runs the world, you will encounter terms like billionaire, oligarch, “the rich,” regime, bankers, polit...

The Best Book For Orthodox Christian Converts

At the time I got baptized, Father Seraphim Rose: His Life and Works was recommended by the priest who baptized me. Written by Father Damascene, the current abbot of the monastery Father Seraphim started, which I had the privilege of visiting in 2019, the book offers a complete picture of his life, writings, and faith. Not only that, but around the time of my baptism, God sent to me a spiritual child of Father Seraphim Rose, and she enlightened me with many edifying stories of his ministry in C...

The Dream Team Is Praying For You

So you’ve chosen to live in the eternal Kingdom of God and commune with Him for all eternity. Congratulations, you’ve made a wise decision. Thankfully, there is a “dream team” that will help yo...

Prayer Is The Highest Activity Of Man

Saint Sophrony is a modern saint (glorified in 2019) who was born in Russia, eventually moving to Mount Athos to become a monk. He was the spiritual child of ascetic Saint Silouan and wrote about many of his teachings. On Prayer is a reflective memoir of his own spiritual journey.
What is prayer?Prayer is infinite creation, far superior to any form of art or science. Through prayer we enter into communion with him that was before all worlds. Or, to put it in another way, the life of the Self-e...

A Foretaste Of My Deathbed

Last fall I came down with a flu-like illness while staying at a monastery. It lasted for two weeks. It turned out to be the worst acute illness I’ve ever experienced, and months later I still have lingering deficiencies with my physical stamina. Armed with the faith, I was able to put the illness into spiritual context, instead of blaming bad luck as I would have before.
The initial symptoms of the illness were like the flu: I felt as if I had been hit by a Canadian truck. My lower back and leg...

Are You On The Path To Salvation?

The Path To Salvation, written by Russian Saint Theophan The Recluse, elaborates how grace, sin, and salvation work within a soul. Since the way I came to the Church is an old story (wretched sinner who repents), I oftentimes felt that with this book I was reading my very own biography. It’s extremely useful to not only understand how God uses repentance to benefit the soul but also how to proceed with the faith in a way that earns you eternal salvation.
The necessity for spiritual guidanceCon...

Vegetable Oils Are Toxic

In September 2021, I came down with a severe flu-like illness. During that time, I started researching my diet to see if it was the cause. I ended up down the rabbit hole of seed oils, more popularly called vegetable oils, which include canola, soybean, corn, safflower, and sunflower oil. I had always thought that it was only trans-fats that were dangerous, not the poly-unsaturated fats in seed oils that experts proclaim are “healthy” for the heart. I was wrong. I have come to the conclusion tha...

A Theology Of God And Christ

On God and Christ is a book by Saint Gregory of Nazianzus, one of the three Cappadocian Fathers, who were all instrumental in elucidating Christian theology before the Schism. This work features five sermons by Saint Gregory that help us understand the mystery of God.
Progressive revelation…there is an educative and progressive unfolding and knowledge of the God whose being is unfathomable.
This also applies on the individual level. If you have gone through repentance and come to behold the pr...

Faithmaxing

The world is falling away. The center cannot hold. Everyone can feel it in their bones, even those who are far from God and participate wholeheartedly in the Antichrist system that aims to destroy souls for eternity. Today’s man is faced with innumerable options on how to “enjoy life,” but only one option transcends the material, not to improve this life, but to prepare for the one to come. The best response in these times is to faithmax.
Pickup artist teachings have long since taught the import...

The End Of Roosh Hour

In a decision that has taken me months to make, I have chosen to retire the Roosh Hour live stream format. The first Roosh Hour was recorded on July 10, 2017 while the last, Roosh Hour 73, on January 22, 2022. I will not do them anymore.
It was quaint to think that, upon repentance, I could seamlessly incorporate Christ into all my existing activities, but some activities are so predominately secular that they must be abandoned entirely. That includes doing a live stream where I offer commentary...
