OUT in Print!!! WOOHOO......
The Tale of Two Toodlegnomes....
From the imagination of a small child and put together by her grandma!!! This is a long children's action adventure, mini-series...which when I ask the grand how many books she thought we would end up with, she replied "About fifteen!" LOL She is now 6 years old. ; )
She will be doing her first book signing this fall in our home town and she is very excited. We started working on this when she was just 2 and a half while on vacation, and grandma put it together when she was five. To her it is a brand new adventure even though she remembers pretending to fight the Bumble Bee Dragons with our little plastic swords and creating the Purple Murples when she first saw a Dragonfly..LOL We now have new swords and have started our new adventure in finding the home of the dreaded Queen of the Bumble Bee Dragons which she named after seeing a huge Bumble Bee.
In this 38 page tale there are creatures of all kinds, from horrid spiders that tower over the tiny Toodlegnomes who live in the magical forest to the slimy Gordilines that she named after playing with a fat worm. In book two she told me we would have to have a Mole that would dig a tunnel for the two toodlegnomes because the Queen Bumble Bee Dragon lived in a honey-comb castle and they had to find a way in from under so they wouldn't be seen and captured. I love how she thinks!
You can find this wonderful read at amazon and soon other sites where you can get it with her autograph. She is published through Hellfire Publishing, their first children's book and their youngest!

In time we will be looking into sending this tale to Pixar and are now looking into ways to do so....If you do pick up this story up we would love your input and a review. Believe me...A.L. Mcbee reads everything that anyone says about her little books...good or bad. Grandma has always told her the bad can be as good as the good and to never let it get her down. ; )
Have a most wonderful day!
Big Hugs to you all~

Ever Feel Like You Are Lost in the Crowd?
Hi all.....
Things have been so crazy that I haven't had, or wanted to give my laptop the time of day for almost two months...but now that all is calming down, it is time to get back on track. I have loads of work to do, stories to create that are banging around in my brain, blogs to make look more up to date, friends to re-connect with...and more promo work than I care to think about. NOW I am finally understanding what all of you pros have to deal with!
I lost my Hero, the greatest man I had and will ever meet on July 19, Lt. Col. Darel M. Ray. But I can hear him telling me to get my butt in gear and hit it hard!
I had planned on doing the Summer Bash Giveaway, but it looks like it will be a Fall Bash Giveaway..LOL One can never help the happenings of life, and it truly hit us hard. I haven't done any promo on any of my books and it shows in the rankings. With an angel like Dad, I think things will be turning aroung...if anyone had faith in this old drop-out making it out in this big ole world...this man sure did. ; ) And the one thing that I do not want to do is let him down!!!
I hope you all have the best day ever! Now that things have kind of sort of calmed, you should be seeing me a whole lot more. I will be (doing my best) to make this blog more inviting! But most know my love of writing revolves around horror...so it may go back to looking a bit spooky...LOL
Well, have the best whatever and I will be back tomorrow...May God Bless you all in the ways you need it the most!!!
Big Hugs and Many Thanks to those who have taken the time to stop by a see my cob-web site. ; ) It will get better soon....I hope! Then maybe I will feel like one of the gang again??? Then again I do very much enjoy being a reclusive person..LOL

In Honor of: Lt. Col. Darel M. Ray (Retired)
It truly has been a very long month, then some. My poor dad/father-in-law faught for his life, battling cancer for two years. Phenomena finally knocking him down to a point that he couldn't get back up and took his last breath.
Lt. Col. Darel M. Ray
(Retired) lost his biggest fight on the evening of July the 19th. 2012...Of sound mind to the very end, this GREAT man without complaint, took a silent breath and slipped past those who stood around his hospital bed. Not as much as a slight twitch to show he had made his final departure. The ladies praying, his sons glancing around, gloom on their brows with dismay locked in their thoughts.
It took a full week to complete the cremation due to the Military paper work that had to be filed...along with several others. The Funeral was beautiful...
Born Oct. 20th, 1933 Died July. 19th, 2012
Darel's life career began by attending the University of Oklahoma on an athletic scholarship, and he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1960. He later earned his master's degree from Webster University.
His military career began with the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served two years. He later joined the U.S. Air Force, where he enjoyed a prestigious career as a field maintenance commander serving three isolated tours in Vietnam. He was officer in charge of the Thunderbird crash investigative team in Nevada and was a military adviser to Saudi Arabia.
He was recognized with numerous awards and medals, including the Bronze Star Medal, FTD Commander of the Year and the Meritorious Service Award. He was a Roman Catholic convert active in religious instruction and member of several committees. Darel was a member of the 1956 national champion Oklahoma Sooners football team and was awarded a game ball from the 1959 Orange Bowl.
He was also a Division I college quarterback coach at the University of Oklahoma, Baylor University and Arizona State University.
His interests included football, thoroughbred race horses, classic cars, gold panning with lifelong friend Don Marr, pool, model trains, guns and he loved to go to garage sales.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mabel L. Ray; sons Darel Duane Ray, of Ruidoso, David Ray and wife, Robin, of Eunice, and Dennis Ray, of Alamogordo; five grandchildren, Darel Duane Jr. (D.J.) and wife, Angie, of Medford, Ore., Kysha McBee and husband, Robby, of Eunice, Jordan Ray, of Ruidoso, and Brittany and Denise Ray, of Alamogordo; five great-grandchildren, Madison, Kyron, Akasha, Shya and Carson; and sisters-in-law Terrie Ray, JoAnn Marrujo and Lilly Aguilar.
He will be forever missed...and forever Loved!!!

Please Welcome Author Ellen McKinney!
Please Welcome Author Ellen McKinney!

About Author Ellen McKinney:
Ellen McKinney's Santa Fe Son, Best of Intentions and Private Honor are among the world's most loved mystery novels. Praised for their intriguing and vivid blend of crime scene investigations and romance, as well as for her intense formulation of characters and immense storytelling penmanship, her novels stand as a true and sworn testimony to the courtroom of her innocent plea in America's most popular literature since her first publication in 2005. Ellen McKinney was born in Peterborough, England and settled in Texas with her husband, Carey.
Ellen is currently engaging her lifelong desire for traveling, cultural experiences and is in the process of writing the sequel to her fifth novel entitled 'The Angel Wore Black'. According to forensics and a few eye witnesses, Ellen may be a conspiring accomplice with another author to further the production of another murder mystery novel entitled 'By Morning Light'.
Hello Ellen and thank you so much for stopping by!
Robin: I always like to start out with; have you always had a dream of being a novelist?
Ellen: No, actually I didn’t until I was encouraged to try my hand and once I put words on paper knew I had found a passion to write.
Robin: What does your family think about you becoming a writer?
Ellen: They are amazed and very proud of me.
Robin: Can you tell us a little about Santa Fe Son?
Ellen: sure, would be happy to.

Blurb:Past memories can be wonderful, but sometimes sad for Corinne. Her world
was rocked by the seemingly senseless tragic murder of a close and lifelong
friend. The murder drastically altered the trajectory of her life as a gifted
medical professional. Overwhelmed by the loss, she was determined to make
it her mission to help bring to justice those responsible for her best friend's death.
As fate would have it, the Sheriff's Deputy first on the scene was an acquaintance of Corinne's. The crime scene at the victim's apartment was suspiciously clean with no evidence of a break in. With the crime scene wiped clean of any fingerprints, the best hope of solving this crime now rest on the meager forensic evidence.
The Deputy and Corinne join forces to solve this shocking crime. However, the entire focus of the case changed when the deputy's partner revealed a secret about the victim. His revelation led to a major complication in the case.
Was the victim reaching out from the grave leading Corinne in the right direction or was the trauma of her close friend's death playing tricks with her imagination?
Robin: Being a Texan, what made you pick the Santa Fe as the key to your story?
Ellen: Robin, I’m an adopted Texan, but I do call Texas my home. My husband Carey and I visited the city several times and fell in love with its ambiance and I thought what fun it would be to write a story using Santa Fe as the setting.
Robin: I know you moved to a new company with your books, can you tell us a bit about that?
Ellen: more personalized service and I am treated with respect and admiration.
Robin: Now for your new release…and might I say: I LOVE the cover on Private Honor. Would you please give us a little of the background on this story?
Ellen: I wanted to challenge myself and write 1st person as a male and the story just came to me. And let me tell you it’s been a blast.

Blurb: Nash Brody, a Dallas Police Captain suffers a traumatic career ending injury. His first day back on the job a close friend is murdered and Nash becomes obsessively compelled to yet pursue the case on his own, becoming a matter of private honor for him to solve the crime and landing his dream job as a private investigator.
It is with this new career that Nash is taken on an incredible journey of self awareness and revere.
Robin: Does either Santa Fe Son or Private Honor have a sequel in the works and if not, can you tell us what we can look for from you in the future?
Ellen: Private Honor does it’s called The Angel Wore Black. I’m sure down the road I will do a sequel to Santa Fe Son it would be neat to see where I could take those characters. I also have some past novels my publisher and I are going to rerelease. I have written for three upcoming anthologies and have ideas for more mysteries.
Robin: What are the genres that you work in and have you ever thought about jumping into a genre that you have never written in before?
Ellen: mostly murder mystery with a touch of romance, I did write a ghost story and some poetry recently and enjoyed branching out, also Science Fiction is an interest for me.
Robin: Where do you get your inspiration from, Ellen?
Ellen: from several different genre’s of music depending on my mood, I especially like Celtic new age and smooth jazz.
Robin: Is there any advice that you can give aspiring authors who are just starting out and think they can not do this?
Ellen: writing is not only putting words on paper it is a creative process and with perseverance and passion follow your dream, it is something you put your all into.
Robin: Ellen, this has been so much fun and I just love getting to know you better. I have to ask…Will you come back again when your new book is released? I know I will want to know more. ;)
Ellen: of course I would love to.
Robin: Last but not lease, can you give us a little info about, The Angel Wore Black?
Ellen: sure I would be happy to.

Blurb: The Caribbean held captive what was dearest to him…his daughter.
His only choice was to go there and rescue her. An undertaking filled with mystery and danger. Finding her was only the beginning journey for Nash Brody.
Nothing in all of his training could have prepared him for what he was to encounter, but determination and strong faith sustained him. The Angel Wore Black at least his daughter saw him that way. Living up to her expectations was a task designed and custom fit for him.
Please leave Ellen a comment and get in on the drawing in the Summer Bash Giveaway to win a signed copy of one of her books. Summer Bash Giveaway starts July the 1st.

Blog Tour Interview with Christie Silvers

Please Welcome, Christie Silvers!

Hello Christie and thank you so much for stopping by on your Blog Tour. We have done so many interviews together and they all rocked. So big hugs for making the stop here, and another interview with me asking you whatever I want..LOL
Christie: Thanks for having me, again, sweet Robin! I’m always happy to stop by your blog. The tour has been fun, and I just know you’ll have some new and exciting questions for me.
Robin: You are most welcome!!!
The first thing I have to ask about is book four in the Liz Baker series…how is that book coming and will we see it in 2012?
Christie: Oh yes, you will most definitely see book four in 2012. As a matter of fact, it’s in the works for an October 2012 release date. Just in time for Halloween!
Robin: I will be the first in line..LOL
Can you tell us a little about Liz Baker and how her world came about?
Christie: Well, Liz came to me after finishing up my Alex & Fiona series. I wanted someone tough, single, old enough to know right from wrong, yet ready to push the boundaries to her own liking. No Skinny-Minnie woman who needed a man, but a voluptuous do-it-herself woman who could rock the world of any man she comes up against. That’s Liz Baker. Her world is wild and crazy, full of monsters big and small, but no matter how much she protests and complains, I don’t think she’d have it any other way.
Robin: I have read the whole series and the little short that you wrote to keep we fans from beating down your walls. LOL. Can you share a little about ‘The Chad’ and what the future holds for him and Liz?
Christie: Oh, The Chad. I love Chad. Chad has a lot of his own personal baggage (which we’ll learn more about in book 4), but never fails to drop everything to help Liz with hers. Chad use to be a cop in their small town of Tremmel Crossing, Georgia, but there was a big happening and then he wasn’t a cop anymore. It’s still a big secret as to what actually happened, but he ended up with a big payout and left the force. That’s when he became the quiet, yet hunky, bouncer in Liz’s bar. And the relationship between Liz and Chad moves forward from there.
Robin: Your covers are amazing! Would you share with us how the creation for your covers came about?
Christie: I agree! They are amazing. And it’s all due to my lovely and most-talented cover designer Kelly Shorten. She is a doll to work with and listens to all of my thoughts and ideas on what I envision for each book’s cover. While writing each story I “see” clips and snippets of what the cover should be. Kelly puts those snippets together and brings my ideas to life. I hope she creates many more covers in the books to come.
Robin: I hate to spoil anything for those who have not read the Liz Baker series…but those of us who have, have to know…Will Liz’s power grow in her other half, the not so human half? And if you can answer this without spoiling too much….Will Liz become more like her birth father?
Christie: Yes, Liz’s powers will definitely grow. Her powers will “mature” as she learns more about them, and herself. She’ll eventually reign in more control over them. As for becoming more like Gregory…hell no! LOL. I don’t know about you, but I like Liz just the way she is. She will go through trials and tribulations, but in the end, she’ll always be herself. That’s not to say she’ll never go through periods of doubt and wrong decisions. Oh no, just the opposite. We all know bad decisions make us who we are today. The same goes with Liz.
Robin: I absolutely agree…and I am a HUGE Liz Fan and I do love her just the way she is. ; )
One more question before we share some information on the Liz Baker series…Do you have anything else in the works, other than book 4 in the LB series?
Christie: From time to time I like to dabble in a little paranormal erotica. Right now I’m finishing up a novella titled A Girl and Her Djinn. I get to be extremely graphic in these stories, whereas I try to keep the sex a little more subdued in the Liz Baker series. Though they still come out steamy, from what I’ve been told by readers. ;)
Robin: Is there anything that you would like to say to aspiring author who are just starting out?
Christie: Read, write, read, write. It’s a never ending cycle. If you aren’t reading you should be writing. And vice versa. Reading makes for better writers just as much as writing does. If you don’t read how are you expected to write?
Robin: Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and chat with us. I do hope we see you again....Very Soon!!!

About the Author
Christie Silvers is a lover and writer of paranormal fiction. From time to time she dabbles in paranormal erotica, as well. Vampires, werewolves, witches, and other creatures of the night have intrigued her for as long as she can remember.
She reads more than she writes, simply because she can't get enough of books. Her Kindle (which she adores to the point of an inappropriate love affair) holds more than 100 books at any given moment. You can never go wrong by gifting her with Amazon gift cards. She'll always find something new to spend it on.
Christie lives in the woods in north Georgia with her husband, three daughters, three dogs, four cats, and five chickens. No it's not a farm, but it sure feels like a funny farm from time to time. Liz Baker, a 32 year old small town bar owner, thought it would be a normal evening of sex in a cemetery with her longtime beau, until she spotted someone in the distance, and all normality in her world ceased to exist.
After several murders in her small town of Tremmel Crossing, Georgia, Liz comes to the realization that the murderer is coming after her, and he’s more dangerous than any human could possibly be.
With the help of her dead mother, bar bouncer, and cemetery lover, Liz learns that the murdering vampire was sent by her biological father to claim her as his own. Only then does she discover her real parentage and underlying special powers.
However, the vampire sent to claim her has powers of his own, most importantly the power to control her mind, emotions and desires. She wants him, needs him, her entire body aches for him, but she soon finds out that she must fight back to save the lives of her friends and loved ones. Only death will release her from Marcus’s powerful hold, but who will die first?
One Amazing Series.....

I thought life would get back to normal after I offed Marcus. I wanted adventure, but not the kind that could kill me with the glimmer of an idea. Yeah, he was a god in bed, but what fun would that have been if I never felt my own feelings and thoughts again?
Now I'm surrounded by more monsters. I somehow knew there couldn't be just vampires in the world, but a girl can hope can't she? Oh well, that's not how it works in the real world.
Adele's estate is gorgeous, much bigger than I'm accustomed to, and it turns out to be an excellent headquarters once Cole McIntosh--Wendigo Extraordinaire--shows up and demands my services. Hell, I don't even know how to use the powers I supposedly have and this bastard wants me to reverse a gypsy curse. It's not my problem he's a dumb ass and got himself split in two. I happen to like his better half anyway. He makes a great sandwich!
Now Rick's pissed at me, Chad's looking as smoking hot as ever, and I have a handful of staff, friends, and my new high-class lawyer helping out...but will I be ready when Cole comes knocking at the front gate?

Saddled with the knowledge that she's not only a half-vampire, but also expected to be some kind of supernatural warrior to battle evil, Liz Baker--34 year old small town bar owner--would rather life went back to normal, choosing to ignore her destiny instead.
She survived murdering a vampire lover, being possessed by a spirit of her ancestor in order to destroy a wendigo, and even finding out that her ghostly mother is in love with the attorney in charge of her newly acquired fortune. But will she survive finding out that she has eleven half-vampire brothers and sisters?
Even with Chad at her back, and an ex-military werewolf pilot giving them defensive pointers, Liz simply wants to go back to normal. What ever normal is now. How will she ever find normal again though, what with a demon haunting her waking hours and a vampire trying to pull her into his paranormal army of offspring?
Chad didn't understand, nor would he. He didn't have this damn inner demon telling him things he shouldn't know, telling him to do things that he desired to do, but knew he should never do. She'd told me at the last second not to kill Gregory. The other children needed him. But was it true? Or just another guise in an attempt to lull me into complacency?
The demon side of me only wanted more evil, more control over my mind, my body, my actions. She had killer intentions, the kinds of intentions that would push me away from all the people I cared about and into the arms of a father I never wanted.

Liz Baker's elderly neighbor has always been there to watch over her. She picks up the mail and feeds the cat when Liz is out of town. She calls to check on Liz and brings over chicken soup when she's sick. But MaryAnne Patterson has secrets of her own. Secrets no one knew. . .no one other than her dead husband.
When Liz goes next door to pick up her cat after a trip, she finds out more about her beloved neighbor than she ever imagined possible.
