Oh Penny and Walter

Hello everyone! Yuko and Ananth are still barreling away on their ongoing work, including making sure fresh pages of Lucky Penny continue rolling off the presses. They keep printing them out despite my insistence this is an online comic. (It's been five years, guys, c'mon. The whole house smells like printer ink.)

This page is super cute. As are these two cuties. I'm just gonna sit here at the monitor fluttering my eyelids at the monitor until I explode at how cute these two are. Also, this storage unit is suspiciously sized and organized like my bedroom now. Hmmm ...

Anyway, thanks again for hanging out, and I'll see you all next Tuesday!

Did You Know?

Did you know that your chopsticks breaking unevenly is an indicator of bad luck in Japan? Sorry Penny.

Yuko and Ananth are crazy busy in their post-SPX recovery phase, and I'm mega sick right now, so I'm in charge of the blog post today and man it's been a while! I see you're all looking well. (Have you been working out?) Lucky Penny is perhaps my favorite thing Yuko and Ananth have done to date, so I hope you're all enjoying it as much as I am.

SPX 2013 in Bethesda, MD this weekend!

Just FYI, Penny's probably my favorite character I've ever written.

We're going to be at SPX this weekend! We'll have a ton of stuff, including Johnny Wander V1-V3, Adventure Time: Candy Capers #1-3, Exquisite Beast, Yuko's Benign Kingdom art book, and more! Check out this handy map:

We're gearing up for SPX next week, in Bethesda MD! We'll post a map on Tuesday to let you know where we are. We'll be bringing JW1-3, Exquisite Beast, and Candy Capers #1 & 2! And probably some prints! Hope we see you there!

 

MOOOOOOooovinggggg

It's been crazy... we moved and now we're working really hard to catch up on all the work we fell behind on. I'm sure you guys have been able to relate at some point!

Our new place is really lovely! We're very happy with it. And the cats seem way happier, so that's a plus. 

I think that's all for us... I'll have some really great things to share in the next few weeks, but for the time being we're focusing on rolling with the punches and getting this work done.
