"When a young person comes to ask me, 'Should I, should I not, write poetry?' I say, 'If there's a choice, don't.' " - B. A.

In this new collection, Choffel's sparse poems present images and actions not as extant material, but as nebulous plans and ideas. She wields the subjunctive mood with aplomb, creating branching futures whose possible

Poetry Time Reading = Big Yay
Last night was the last NYC stop of the Time Travel through the Cosmos Tour. Ben Fama was charming and awesome as usual. James Copeland mesmerized the place with his poems and visual / musical accompaniment. And before the poems there were two bands -- Gem Club and Holy Spirits, and they were fantastic, reevaluate your life good.
