Tomorrow sees the release of my new book – How To Create Your Own Reality in kindle and paperback formats. Pre-orders have been strong and the book is already ranking on bestseller lists on Amazon! Yes – I am creating my own reality and the book outlines how. I do think that readers of the book will certainly have food for thought along with some techniques to try out. I also believe that anyone who reads the book might just change their outlook on life and, if they do that, then they will change their reality because that change in outlook will have an impact.

The content of the book is drawn from many blog articles written over the last several years that have been edited, added to and organized to add up to a powerful punch of creative thinking and practice. I know one thing for certain and that is when I gave this book to my book publicist, things changed in his reality almost immediately after reading it!

Thoughts are real. Thoughts are things. Thoughts create.

My Haunted Life Too

Sometimes an idea will hit you and you think “I can’t do that!” Then you remember that unless you try to do something it isn’t going to happen at all and, since we create our own reality, let’s take a shot at creating something….

Well, such a thought passed through my noggin while cycling a trail in the Czech Mountains. Too many bumps? Maybe, but I thought why not start a ghost story website? Yes, there are a few around already but everyone has a story – a creepy story – so why not try to get them to submit those stories to a website and promote my own ghost books all at the same time?

A couple of days later and Hey Presto! My Haunted Life Too was born. So why not pop over and take a look – it is a beginning and I have visions – possibly of grandeur – but visions none the less of all sorts of activity there perhaps maybe even podcasts and the like in the future.

And – since I really do believe that we can all create a better reality – I am going to go for it. For I know that surely if I don’t, it won’t happen at all.

The Myth of Nationality

Nationality. Some people get all teared up and emotional about their nationality. Others use it as a way to discriminate between people. Some even use it to hate and despise. Nationality is basically a dividing factor used to keep us from coming together like we should. As Europe supposedly comes together, nationalism is springing up all over the place from Yorkshire to parts of Belgium. Nationalism is ugly. It is basically a reaction of fear and hate. Nationality is about as silly as being in a gang. The sooner people understand that nationality is an accident of birth and purely arbitrary the better. Your nationality – those misplaced emotions about belonging to some gang – are being used by people who manipulate. They will cite history and other myth to get the reaction that they desire.

Let’s get something straight here. I am not talking about culture. I am not talking about making everyone the same. Differences are interesting and there is too much pressure to adopt some shallow version of fast food, pop culture. Nor am I talking about understanding who you are and why you are. No, I am talking about bearing a chip on your shoulder because you believe your ancestors where mistreated or ganging up on a minority because you fear what they may do to your culture. Yes – I am talking about the politics of division and hatred like the SNP and UKIP and National Front (Yorkshire One, Plaid Cymru and all of those nationalist parties without exception). Such nationalist parties always and without fail attract an element who sooner or later will resort to violence to achieve their objectives.

Until we realize that nationality is manipulated, abused and used to have us fight one another then it will remain a barrier to moving forward into a different reality where people see the similarities as things to unite as opposed to differences to fight over. Politics and religion are two other dividers.

One of my Facebook friends said that nationality was not an accident of birth but a spiritual challenge. I guess I agree with that. Perhaps we chose to be born in a particular location at a particular time hoping to transcend nationality as a divider. However, when I say it is an accident of birth I mean that there are some locations where depending on the year I was born, I could actually be a different nationality – borders move. Borders are arbitrary and man-made.

It is that latter point that we should remember. National borders are man-made and they are not permanent features of life on planet Earth. Your nationality is artificially created and in using it as a divider you may as well stamp a gang marking on your forehead – it is essentially the same thing after all.

I left the UK in 1989. While there I lived in Yorkshire, London, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Birmingham. I enjoyed being in all of those places. Each offered something new in terms of local customs and habits, landscapes and myths. I learned a lot and took away a lot. By age 14, I had spent considerable time in France. This was also an amazing experience. Since then, I have lived in Texas and traveled North America extensively (talk about an alien culture…. but a great one in its own way) and more recently, I have lived in the Czech Republic for almost a decade having had the opportunity to travel in what was eastern Europe. The UK these days seems like a foreign country to me. My nationality is only important in that I have to have a passport. The country that issues me with one no longer matters. I no longer view myself as belonging to a nationality gang. I enjoy experiencing other cultures, other landscapes, other mythologies… exploring the world and there is a lot of it yet to see.

Over the last year or more, I have fiddled with multimedia in the form of book videos and even me reading a poem. I’m unsure as to whether multimedia adds much to be honest as the views for most of the videos I have made are quite low. Perhaps I am not much good at making video or maybe there is a trick to marketing them I am unaware of… Recently, someone suggested I should start podcasting! There are just too few hours in the day and writing takes up a lot of time…

Shhhhh – Let me Tell You A Secret (Don’t tell anyone)

Imagine. Imagine if with a few words and an attitude you could manifest whatever you wanted in your life? What would you ask for?

Think of that a different way. There you are polishing the silverware and suddenly, a genie appears. He grants you three wishes. What would they be?

Now, let us complicate this scenario. Let’s imagine that rather than ask you for the three wishes, the genie reads your mind and delivers on your first three thoughts. How might that go?

“Oh….. I want a big fast car, er, wait, no, I would like to be rich, stop, wait, maybe just happy…..”

I would think that most folk would end up very disappointed with the result of their wishes and the genie might very well be extremely confused by your muddy thinking.

Well, thoughts are real. Thoughts are things. Thoughts really do manifest. The problem is most people don’t think much at all or if they do, they have no discipline. They are constantly sending mixed messages to the Universe and the Universe gets confused. If you don’t know what the hell it is you want out of life then I am pretty sure the Universe doesn’t know either.

This is the problem with the concept behind the The Secret and the cosmic ordering concept. We simply do not know what it is we want. Not deep down anyway. And that is why you need to first learn about yourself. You need to sit down and get introduced to your self. The next step in the dialogue is to recognize that you have been programmed and those programs that are running in background are NOT actually the ones you want to be running at all. You will discover that rather than being a sentient in control person you are an automated sleep-walker responding to signals feed to you by the matrix that we live in. Fear, Sex, Greed – you name it. At every minute of every day you are being told how to behave, how to think, what to want, what to need and you know what? It is all bullshit.

Even worse, you will discover that much of the programming was put there by your parents, your friends, your family, your culture. You will discover that you are not who you thought you were at all. Even worse, you will discover that what you actually want and what you think you want are TWO different things.

In magic – real magic (yes, magic exists and so do magicians – you can read about 13 amazing real magicians here) – we first must learn to know ourselves. This is a never ending process but once you start you will be amazed. The world will change as you discover what you really are. The other thing Magicians learn is mental discipline. This involves being able to control your thoughts and imagine so well that you can actually see, feel, hear and smell what it is you imagine.

Now, imagine that for 10-years you have been working on that conversation with yourself, practicing mental discipline and imagination. Poof- Genie appears and he acts on your first 3 thoughts.

Different huh?

Thoughts are real. Thoughts are things. You create your own reality so accept responsibility for what you have created and start now to work magic. You can. You will. Break Free. Read the book that will change your outlook on life – here and visit the website too.

Eat Your Heart Out Harry Potter!

Everyone knows who Harry Potter is. Harry is inescapably the most well-known magician on the planet and yet he is (hide your eyes if sensitive….) – fictional. Many people would probably laugh at any assertion that magic is real and that there are and always have been magicians in the world. Most people would believe magic to be sleight of hand and stage trickery at best and at worst just nonsense that you read about or see on TV. I just wish these same people would read my latest book….. Wizards, Warlocks and Magicians – Incredible True Stories of Magic and Sorcery.

Magicians are real. Magic is real.

Both magic and magicians however may not quite be what you think.

Magic is about changing things at will. In order to be able to do that however, you must first learn about yourself and you must learn how to master your mind and imagination. Magicians certainly exist but most of them remain, as instructed, silent about their activities. In my book, I cover 13 magicians through history up until the present day. You will be amazed at their powers and their abilities in general. No, Harry Potter has nothing on these men.

These magicians could do things like,

– change the weather,

– those who healed the sick,

– raised the dead,

– made gold out of other metals,

– could be in two places at once,

– make fire with their will power,

– levitate,

– have seemingly endless lives and never age.

How To Create Your Own Reality

The book is taking shape and will be released on May 14th, 2015. The Kindle cover is ready. The website is being built and I will also probably take a crack at a video as well.

As many of you know, I think we create our own reality via the way we think, act and how well we break free of the ingrained thought processes that we are given growing up. Magic is a process by which we learn to gain control of our lives – our reality – and truly live.

The book is quite short but I believe it will be very effective. I will go so far as to say that it may change a few lives.
