Music Monday – What Happens Tomorrow

With everything going on, the one thing that always holds true is that we don’t know. Life changes on a dime now. In the space of a heartbeat both good and bad can happen. We just simply don’t know, but we have to keep pressing on and pushing toward tomorrow…

So, I just had a new release (and yes I did sneak that buy button in there). It’s getting some great reviews and I’ve received some interesting, supportive, and bordering on obsessive emails and messages regarding the series. I love that people enjoy it, especially since I’m so far out of my element with what’s contained in the rest of this post.

The following image is one of my whiteboards. It has arrows and colors and a very, very, very loose idea of how I’ll be connecting several shifter...

a little different from other shifter books…” Oh My God, y’all… I LOVE that! One of the reviews says it. And yes, it IS a little different.

Temptation Tuesday – Bearing The Ink

It’s finally coming…

Bryson City, North Carolina. It was her home. It was her childhood. Now it’s the key to a horribly reality.

Poachers. Unscrupulous hunters take the lives of full blood animals and shifters alike. Sport for most. Revenge for one.

Confronted by a man she believed to be dead, Bex, her newfound family, and Gus by her side, face down a stunning realization that nothing is as it seems and dots connect pasts to presents.

They’re all targets. They’re all in danger.

But love conq...

Expectations and The Wrong Words On The Page

I canceled the pre-order for The Billionaire’s Heiress. All of you know that by now. Some of you have emailed me about it and I appreciate your understanding.

The book wasn’t ready. The words were all wrong. I hated the characters. And I hated the circles I’d written, revised, edited, and re-written myself into. I wouldn’t put out a book that I hated.

There are penalties, of course. Loss of readers who might have wanted to try my work. The loss of pre-order privilege at Amazon for a year. Bo...

Yes, I said Shit. I’ll say it again. SHIT!

Wondering why? Okay, a little background…

During the Nascar race yesterday in Richmond, on the last lap, Kyle Busch was about to win. He was THIS close. He was bumped and moved out of the way by his teammate, Carl Edwards, who went o...

Music Monday – Born This Way by Lady Gaga

The woman has her own style, you can’t deny that… And there’s depth and soul to what she says in all her music… And she’s brave, she’s out there, and she’s beautiful.

And her message… Be who you are….

Music Monday – Election Day

I don’t usually wax political on my blog and I’m not going to start now, however; given the current climate and that it’s an election year…

Author Friday – Samhain Publishing Closing Its Doors

MalachisWord72web1This news was announced this afternoon and it has come as a shock and a heartbreaker for many, if not all of Samhain Publishing’s authors, editors, cover artists, and readers. It’s a devastating feeling. Though I haven’t published with them in a couple of years, as fate would have it, I had a couple of titles planned for submission for them this year. One of those is Abe’s Law, Book 3 in my Bar Next Door series. With Samhain closing, I will not be able to submit the book to them and will have...
