How it all started

I often get asked how did I start writing. I never considered myself an author, and it wasn't till 2005, when a friend dared me to write. I had been complaining about a recent read I had finished. She looked me at said, "do better."

Not one to shy away from a challenge. I did just that. I wanted to write, my first love in reading, Historical Romance. I discovered quickly that I was too impatient to do the research and learn the customs of the Regency period. So that was out lol

At the time erotica was just starting to gain a foothold in the Romance category. It was call Romantica. At the same time, Eyes Wide Shut, was popular and thought why not do a take off on that.

That led to Unveiling Facade, my first story. A short story that I sold to a small press publisher. It did fairly well, but I personally faded from the writing scene.

In 2016, with the encouragement of a good friend, I started looking at writing again. I retrieved my rights to Unveiling Facade and self published it. (Back in 2005, there was no self publishing.)

I had intended to leave it as a standalone, but readers wanted more of Jocelyn. That gave birth to the Dark Desire Series. At the time, I had no idea it was a common term in the marketplace.

Unveiling Facade, holds a special place in my heart. It was the first, and you know what they say about your first lol

"Great, short, smutty read. The story's premise is erotic, and the author's imagination simply delectable. "
