Meet Peter Bankston

I must have been so excited about publishing my new novel You Are Here that I completely forgot to announce it on my own blog. Anyway, I hope you have a moment to check out my official website blog, where I've just posted a two-minute audio file of me reading the first few paragraphs.

The novel consists of fifteen chapters that is told from the point of view of the novel's three main characters: Peter Bankston, Miles Bettencourt, and Nick Katsaris. I'll be introducing Miles and Nick in future posts, but for now, allow me to introduce you to Peter, the young artist standing at the chalkboard by the cash registers.

Sydney's Story

While I wait for my own book to come out, which should be very, very soon, I'd like to take a few moments to give a shout-out to my friend and fellow indie author Eileen Granfors, whose novel
Sydney's Story -- a lively imagining of the life of Sydney Carton before he becomes the hero in Charles Dickens's A Tale of Two Cities -- has just come out. (It's not m/m romance.) The details are here:

Congrats, Eileen!

100-Day Novel Writing Challenge: Lessons Learned

Hi all,

With the novel challenge behind me, I thought I'd share some of the lessons I learned along the way. (I also give a mini-update on "You Are Here", but to make a long story short, everything's on schedule.)

Thanks!

Chris
