R. Michael Phillips is a classically trained artist who has been painting for over 25 years. By combining his creative talents with a passion for mysteries and London he conceived the Ernie Bisquets Mystery Series. Michael has completed 3 books in the series and has plans for at least five additional books following the adventurers of London’s most remarkable pickpocket.
I've just signed with Sunbury Press and I'm excited about a new series located in a small New England town which is scheduled for release in early 2016.
One of his favorite short stories “Oranges and Lemons” was published in Suspense Magazine, January 2011. Michael is a proud member of the Crime Writer’s Association and Mystery Writers of America.

I received nine months of rejection letters for my first book, but then 1 week I got 2 acceptance letters. A rejection letter doesn't mean your book is bad, it just means it wasn't right for the person you sent it to. Just remember, it's one persons opinion, so keep submitting until you get it in front of the right person at the right time.(less)

That's great! I'm looking forward to reading all about Ernie's adventures again. All is well with me. I had a bit of a lull in my writing in 2012 due to a lot of things happening, but, now, I'm starting to get the bug back. Hopefully, I'll have at least one or two books published this year.

Thanks so much for adding Pool of Souls to your reading list. I hope you enjoy it.

R. Michael Phillips Hey Cheryl, great to hear from you! The third book is finished (Passage Of Crime) and is in submission. I hope to hear soon about it. I'll keep you posted on a release. I hope things are well with you and the rest of the Asylett gang. I need to do some catching up with everyone. I added Pool Of Souls to my reading list. I'll get you a review when I'm done.

Cheryl Landmark Hey, Mike. Hope all is well with you. Just wondering if your third Ernie Bisquets mystery is released yet, or, if not, when it will be. I can't wait to read it! :)

Cheryl Landmark I ordered Rook, Rhyme and Sinker this weekend from Asylett and can't wait to read it! Congratulations again on a very nice, positive first review.

Cheryl Landmark Yay, Mike, it's released! Congratulations and best of luck with "Rook, Rhyme and Sinker". It will definitely go on my TBR list when it comes out in paperback (sorry, I'm old fashioned; I want to hold the book in my hand!).

Cheryl Landmark Thanks for being my friend, Mike. I hope all is well with you and your books are pulling in lots of fans and sales.
