Be sure to take a peek at WHO NEEDS TEETH?, another adorable rhyming book by Sally Huss. About the AuthorSally Huss

Before graduating from USC with a degree in Fine Art in the 60's, Sally had already become a champion tennis player, having won the Wimbledon and U.S. Junior titles and been a Wimbledon semi-finalist in the Women's Division in both singles and doubles. Carrying both her brushes, pens, plus rackets in her hands, she continued to operate in two arenas. With her husband Marv Huss, former head of Advertising and Promotion for Hallmark Cards, they developed the renowned Aspen Club in Colorado, a luxury health spa and tennis facility. After that, they embarked on building a string of 26 Sally Huss Galleries across the country offering Sally's art, writings, and licensed products.
Through the galleries, Sally's creations have found their way into millions of offices, hotels, and homes, including those of Clint Eastwood, Kirk Douglas, Joel Gray, Bill and Hillary Clinton, and Mitt Romney.
Presently the Husses reside on an art ranch in Fallbrook, California, where Sally indulges herself in her life-long passion of writing and illustrating her own books. The majority of these books are for children, while others touch on her expertise as a tennis champion, and still others reveal her positive philosophy of life. Her creations are still "bright and happy, "light and whimsical" after all these years! Links www.sallyhuss.com Twitter @SallyHussAmazon http://tinyurl.com/krcgpq8

Jesus>Religion~Spotlight

Abandon dead, dry, rule-keeping andembrace the promise of being truly known and deeply loved.
Jefferson Bethke burst into the cultural conversation in 2012 with a passionate, provocative poem titled “Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus.” The 4-minutevideo literally became an overnight sensation, with 7 million YouTube views inits first 48 hours (and 23+ million in a year). The message blew up onsocial-media, triggering an avalanche of responses running the gamut from encouragedto enraged.
In Jesus > Religion, Bethke unpacks similarcontrasts that he drew in the poem—highlighting the difference between teethgritting and grace, law and love, performance and peace, despair and hope. Withrefreshing candor he delves into the motivation behind his message, beginning withthe unvarnished tale of his own plunge from the pinnacle of a works-based,fake-smile existence that sapped his strength and led him down a path ofdestructive behavior.
Bethke is quick to acknowledge that he’s not apastor or theologian, but simply a regular, twenty-something who cried out fora life greater than the one for which he had settled. Along his journey, Bethkediscovered the real Jesus, whobeckoned him beyond the props of false religion.

Review by Robin Lee, an Amazon Top 500 Reviewer
This story is a woven mix of sci-fi, astronomy, genetics, medicine, ancient, Native American mythology, a little blood, and a corporate conspiracy thriller, that just worked perfectly together. This was a non-stop page turner for me.

Blogging Airborne: a memoir about jumping from a perfectly good airplane ~free on Amazon~

In 1988, as a very young and very green second lieutenant, I secured a slot to the US Army Airborne School at Fort Benning, Georgia. This memoir is merely one of the results.
Note: I originally wrote this memoir as a series of blog posts in July 2006. That version will always remain at my blog: Writing Wrongs. This e-book version contains a new introduction. I've also revised and formatted the text for e-readers. I like to think of it as Blogging Airborne in a to-go cup.About the Author

She spent twelve years as a Girl Scout and six in the Army; that she wore a green uniform for both may not be a coincidence. These days, she writes fiction (long and short) and works as a technical writer for a software company in St. Paul.
