I highly recommend this book to children ages 3 to 8 and I think it would be a great choice for reading aloud to children in a classroom or library setting.""This is our new favourite story to read and will be a book that we will be keeping to pass down to future member of our family." ~ Raincity Parent "This wonderful piece of children’s literature is well crafted and appropriate for children and adults, the message is clear, embrace diversity, ones weakness may actually be strength. The most interesting and entertaining part is that there is a consistent rhythm and rhyme to the story, keeping the powerful message light and playful." ~ Active Lee Dadding" I have read the sweetest story!...The combination of these two talents [i.e., the author and illustrator] working together has left us with a sweet rhyming story about a little mites big imagination." ~ Moments in Mommyland"I recently received a new children’s book to review called Flight of the Mite. So of course I went to the best critic in the house – my 4 year old son[...]. We sat down to read the story together and discovered a delightful tale about imagination and discovery... The illustrations are delightful and [my son] insisted that we stop to discuss some of them along the way. There was more than one “wow!” over a picture of the mite climbing a dandelion." ~ Prenatal to Parenting  About the Author: Grayson SmithGrayson Smith Grayson Smith was born in Alberta, but attended a boarding school in Germany for 11 years. About the Author
Adi Alsaid was born and raised in Mexico City, then studied at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While in class, he mostly read fiction and continuously failed to fill out crossword puzzles, so it's no surprise that after graduating, he did not go into business world but rather packed up his apartment into his car and escaped to the California coastline to become a writer. He's now back in his hometown, where he writes, coaches high school and elementary basketball, and has perfected the art of making every dish he eats or cooks as spicy as possible. In addition to Mexico, he's lived in Tel Aviv, Las Vegas, and Monterey, California. A tingly feeling in his feet tells him more places will eventually be added to the list. Let's Get Lost is his YA debut.

Excerpt“I bet,” Leila said. She wiped at the sweat on her
forehead. “It looks like there’s some kind of event
going on.”
The sun was still high, the sunset a couple of hours
away. Bree felt her shirt stick to her lower back.
“Yeah . . .” Bree said, her voice trailing off. “You
think they’d mind if we borrowed it for a little
while?”
Leila turned to Bree, arching one eyebrow. “It
would be nice to drive around with some airconditioning
for a bit. Why? Your soul getting itchy
again?”
They watched the valet attendant get into the car,
drive about fifty feet up the driveway, and turn into
the parking lot that was hidden from view. After a
few moments he reappeared, trotting back to the
entrance, waiting for the next car to show up. He
left the keys of the Mercedes on a hook next to
about two dozen other sets of luxury-car keys.

She may not love being called Charles or Chuck, but the hardest nickname to take is the one she was given in college, the one that’s followed her now for too many years. They call her “the husband maker” and sadly, it fits. Every guy she’s dated since high school has become his next girlfriend’s husband. Not hers. Not three girlfriends down the road. The next. Is she doing something wrong or is she just cursed? When Kyle Aldsworth enters the picture and sweeps her off her feet, Charlotte begins to hope that maybe she's not destined to be single forever. A senator’s son with political aspirations of his own, Kyle's wealthy, handsome, and in need of a wife. Will Charlotte be disappointed yet again, or will she finally be able to make a husband for herself? She and her husband are the parents of four great children. She teaches summer creative writing courses to young people and is currently working on her next book.   Website * Twitter * Facebook * GoodreadsExcerpt My apartment intercom buzzed. “Yes?” I answered.“It’s Kyle Aldsworth.” He had a deep, rich voice in spite of the static that accompanied it.“Great. I’ll be right down.” I ran to the window that overlooked the sidewalk in front of my apartment. I didn’t have a great angle. The door to our building was narrow and sat behind a wrought iron gate between Cuddy’s Clip Shop and Grandpa Guo’s Shoe Repair. Cuddy’s was two floors below us, and if guests were standing too close to the door, they were blocked from view by the barber pole attached to the side of the building.Kyle stood a few feet from the door, allowing me a birds-eye view of dark, thick hair and a navy suit. If he looked up, I’d be able to see his face, which Jayne had compared to a clean-shaven Jake Gyllenhaal. Of course, if he looked up, he’d probably see I was spying out my window instead of coming to the door. I took one last look at my gray and white striped dress, grabbed my yellow cardigan, and headed down.“You must be Charlotte,” he said when I opened the door. I smiled and looked up—yes up—at one of the most incredible faces I’d ever gone on a date with. Jayne had been wrong. He wasn’t a beardless Jake Gyllenhaal. He was Jake plus Cary Grant plus Captain VonTrapp, with a little of Jonny Lee Miller’s Mr. Knightley thrown in for good measure. Perhaps that sounds ridiculous, but you weren’t looking at him.All intelligent thought abandoned me, leaving me unable to remember for sure what my name was. What kind of game was Jayne playing with me? Kyle was much too beautiful for me. He’d have probably been too beautiful for Grace Kelly.“You are Charlotte Emerson, right?”How long had I been standing there gawping at him?“Yes. I’m Charlotte.”“Whew! You had me worried for a second. I’m Kyle. It’s good to meet you.” He extended his hand and shook mine. His hand was perfect—good size, warm and dry, nice grip without too much enthusiasm. He was a hand-shaking artist. Great. He’d stopped shaking my hand and I hadn’t relinquished my grip. I quickly withdrew mine and turned to lock the iron gate. My face burned, and I fidgeted with the key for a few extra seconds to give my cheeks a chance to return to their normally fair complexion.Kyle was smiling when I turned back around. “My car’s around the corner.”  Coming Fall 2014 - Charlotte's Story continues in The Match Maker The Matchmaker final ebook cover add to goodreads new   $25 Blog Tour Giveaway $25 Amazon Gift Card or Paypal Cash Ends 8/15/14 Open only to those who can legally enter, receive and use an Amazon.com Gift Code or Paypal Cash. But instead of writing a story of questionable taste, Chuka creates some hilarious situations and then makes a point of allowing learning from them...Chuka's drawings match the joy of his story and once again he has written a brave little book that will greatly appeal to kids - and to their parents! Very high quality work from David Chuka." ~ 5 Star Review, Grady Harp, Top 100 Reviewer, Amazon"Yes dear readers kids now have a new friend called the Fart Monster. A buddy that lets them off the hook big time. In this imaginative story by David Chuka your child's imagination will leap to new bounds in giving kids cover for what comes so naturally. I know that boys think farting is funny and I'm sure my grands will love this picture book. Of course us adults have to use some animation, so we can join in the fun. The pictures rock with this simple story, and there are some problem solving discussed and shared with another character. However, the overall problem is, 'Billy is getting blamed for something you didn't do'. In the end the problem is solved and the relationship is forever. Job well done. I'm still laughing. " ~ 5 Star Review, Amazon Customer, Amazon"This is a not too serious book for kids who love to LAUGH OUT LOUD. I bought it for my nephew and he laughed and laughed and I had to ask him twice to get my IPAD back. But anyway, The book is funny with lots of illustrations that kids love. The illustrations are really good and captivating for a young audience. Not only that the book also gives a moral story at the end of the book. It teaches kids discipline and manners, which is something very valuable in today's society. Overall good book." ~ 5 Star Review, Jomy K., Amazon"THIS BOOK IS HILARIOUS! My 8 year old son stated. Husband Maker Tour
The Husband Maker by Karey White Charlotte’s a girl with nicknames. Excerpt Mrs. Shelton’s words bounced around in my head. They call her the husband maker.“That’s quite a frown you’ve got going there.”“Sorry.”Angus dipped his head, forcing me to make eye contact with him.“Don’t be sorry. Just talk to me.”“Have you heard anyone call me the husband maker?”Angus leaned back in the booth and shook his head. His dark, worried eyes watched me. “Who told you about that?”“So you have?” When he didn’t immediately speak, I knew the answer. I sighed and leaned back against my seat as well. There we sat, both of us slouching against our seats, looking at each other.“Why didn’t you tell me?” I whispered.“Now why would I do that? Why would I purposely tell you something that would hurt your feelings?”I should have appreciated his desire to spare me, but at the moment, I wasn’t sure what to think. “Wouldn’t a real friend be honest with me?”“I was honest. If you’d ever asked me, I’d have told you. I wouldn’t have lied to you. But I don’t think a real friend would jump at the chance to share something hurtful. Wouldn’t a real friend be protective?”I shrugged.“Who told you?”“No one.”“Then how—?”“I overheard Hannah Shelton’s mom in the restroom. She was telling some other woman that everyone calls me the husband maker.”“Not everyone, Chuck.”“You know what I mean. And why shouldn’t they? There I was at Harrison’s wedding. I guess I just made him a husband. I guess I made Skyler a husband. And CJ and Jerry and . . . I can keep going if you want me to.” I would have kept going to illustrate my point, but my voice was starting to quiver, and in a minute, I’d only have two options—cry or yell at Angus. As upset as I was that he’d never told me, I knew he didn’t deserve to be yelled at. He was here for therapy, after all.“Charlotte.”His voice was full of concern, and he used my given name, so I knew he wasn’t kidding around.“What?” My voice cracked. He shook his head. “Don’t worry about what people say. You’ve had bad luck. That’s all. It isn’t your fault.”The waitress brought out our food. “Can I get you anything else?”“This is great, thanks.” Angus wasted no time piling food on his plate. “I hope you’re hungry,” he said after she left.“I can’t believe we’re eating this much food at almost ten.”“If the food doesn’t take your mind off all this junk, the heartburn will.”I laughed.Angus’s voice turned serious again. “If you wish I’d have told you, I’m sorry I didn’t.”I nodded. I wasn’t sure I wanted the answer, but I had to ask. “Have you ever called me that?”“Of course not.” Karey White   Author Karey White  Karey White grew up in Utah, Idaho, Oregon, and Missouri. Tortured Souls Blitz & Giveaway

Tortured Souls (Orion Circle #1)by Kimber Leigh WheatonRelease Date: July 2014

Summary from Goodreads:
Sometimes Rest in Peace isn't an option.

Kacie Ramsey sees ghosts—and it's ruining her life. Her mother left, her father blames her, and no matter how hard she tries, she can't keep the ghosts away. Now a new power has emerged. Nightly visions of grisly murders and a relentless predator draw her to the brink of insanity.

When the phantom appears at a party, Kacie's longtime crush, Logan, saves her. He invites her to join the Orion Circle, a group of supernatural hunters with chapters in schools all over the country. Through the Circle, Kacie learns to embrace her spiritual powers, and for the first time in her life she feels in control rather than a victim.

But the Foxblood Demon will not give up so easily. A demented serial killer in life who trapped the souls of the thirteen children he murdered, imprisoning them within the walls of his mansion. Now in death, he plots his return while drawing power from the pure souls of the children. He recognizes something in Kacie he's never seen before—a medium powerful enough to provide a vessel for his tainted soul.

Kacie can't ignore the tortured souls of the children crying out to her every night. With Logan at her side, she will fight the Foxblood Demon. But can they banish this powerful phantom, or will Kacie lose not only her body, but her eternal soul to the monster.
