Sunday Snog – Illicit Relations

It’s time for another Sunday Snog and more tantalising lip action from my M/M erotic romance novella, Illicit Relations. Happy reading!

With that, they fell silent. Justin closed the gap between their faces and pressed a tender kiss to Terry’s lips. It was chaste for barely a second before they reached for each other and things became much more passionate. Lips parted, tongues explored, teeth clashed.



Soon the silence was replaced by heavy breathing, gasps and moans. They touched each other’s backs, shoulders and arms, eager for contact. Eager for…more.



Terry had been stiff pretty much as soon as they’d gotten into the taxi. The promise of what would happen next had seen to that. But now he felt close to exploding. His shaft pressed hard against the inside of his boxer shorts and he was damn glad he’d worn them. If not, his poor cock would have been in danger of being shredded by the unforgiving metal of his zipper.



He pulled back, his eyes wide, his chest heaving. “Fuck,” he said in response to Justin’s confused expression. “That’s just…wow. Can we get naked now?”



The blond grinned. “Sounds like a plan to me.”



Their lips melded once more and they turned their exploring hands to the task of undressing one another. They parted briefly to tug off T-shirts, but then they were drawn back together as if by magnets.



Terry scrambled wildly at Justin’s waist, desperate to render him naked so they could roll around on the bed, skin-to-skin. “Argh,” he finally said, the angle just too difficult to achieve his aim. “Just get them off.” He waved at the offending jeans.



As one, they reached down to undo their shoes, tug off their socks, then finally remove their jeans and boxers. Finally they stood facing each other, raking their gazes over each other’s unclothed forms.

3 Worst Airports for a “Lay”-Over by Tara Quan

Hi Lucy. Thanks so much for letting me drop by to promote my new book. A contemporary romance, Delicious Delay was just released by Decadent Publishing. Writing Delicious Delay has forced me to mull over a plethora of logistical hurdles related to sex in an airport. While certain airports have the amenities to make a “Lay”-Over possible, there are ones that would make any attempt the opposite of pleasant. Here’s my short list of worst airports for “Lay”-Overs, along with the reasons why. (Disclaimer: I do not advocate having sex in an airport.)

3. Siem Reap International Airport, Cambodia: There are virtually no enclosed areas in this tiny little airport (the architects seemed to favor stilts over walls). It’s equipped with a few extremely cramped bathroom stalls and air conditioning is difficult to come by. Combined that with the humidity, heat, and mosquitoes, and you’ve got one of the least sex-inspiring airports on the planet. That said, I highly recommend a trip to Angkor Wat!

2. Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai, India: This is without a doubt the most crowded airport I’ve ever visited save for Cairo. In general, India gives the term “sea of people” a whole new meaning. Because of the amount of traffic this place gets, it’s impossible to keep it clean. With queues snaking out the doors, you’d be lucky to catch your flight, let alone sneak in a naughty kiss.

1. Washington Dulles International Airport, D.C., USA: I might be a bit biased since I’ve traveled through this airport more times than I can count. That said, with security the way it is these days, you can get into a ton of trouble in the nation’s capital by looking even remotely suspicious. There are cameras everywhere, along with drug-sniffing German Shepherds (that once took a shining to my stash of pork jerky), as well as over-worked government employees who seem to be in a bad mood more often than not. Most would not think this of the country that birthed Hollywood and MTV, but Americans can be quite prudish when we’re in a rush to catch our flight!

He grinned. “So I have a proposal.”

She tried to get her breathing under control, without much success. “Why am I sure it’s an indecent one?”

He motioned his head toward the far end of the lounge. Latticed wooden screens gave that particular section more privacy. In an L-shaped room, the tucked-away location prevented a direct line of sight from the dining or reception areas.

He got up and offered her his hand. She hesitated for a long moment before taking it. With faltering footsteps, she followed him. More private or not, limits on how far this could go existed due to them being in an airport lounge. Since her self-control had chosen today to take a vacation, she appreciated the imposed constraint.

He lowered himself onto a plush leather sofa deep inside the cordoned area. With walls on either side and screens strategically angled, the space seemed to have been designed as a spot for people to nap.

On the brink of crossing a dangerous line, she hesitated. “What exactly do you have in mind?”

“I’m just giving you the opportunity to have your way with me,” he offered, his face the picture of innocence.

She hadn’t expected that answer. “I don’t quite follow.”

He kicked one of his legs out and tangled it with hers. She stumbled and instinctively moved her hands forward to brace herself. Her palms flattened over his hard muscled chest when she landed.

She traced the shape of his pectorals. “What do you do all day? Work out?”

He chuckled, the low rumble all male. “I have access to the best personal trainers money can buy. They help keep me honest.”

She shook her head in disbelief as the man preened. “Have you heard of a concept called humility?”

“It’s not one of my virtues,” he admitted. “I’ve never understood the point.”

She sighed. “It’s the polite thing to do.”

He placed his forefinger under her chin and tipped her head up, his expression playful. “So what is a sweet, polite, goody two shoes doing on top of me?”

Welcome to the Winter Spanks: Cold Hands, Warm Bottoms blog hop! When I first signed up, I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to write about, because although I’ve written winter-themed stories and spanking stories, I haven’t yet combined the two. I must be honest, I’m really not a fan of the cold weather, not one little bit. I dislike being cold, dislike snow and ice, and am hoping for a lottery win so I can buy a house in Australia and live there for several months of the year! Knowing this, it’s probably no surprise to you that one of my favourite books that contains spanking is actually set in California in the summer. I’m sure you’ll forgive me for the lack of cold hands when you  meet Travis Connolly – a character in Grand Slam, a BDSM novel co-authored by myself and Lily Harlem. Here’s a spanking snippet.

I looked around the room, giving myself a few seconds to get into the right frame of mind for what I was about do. Everyone else was immersed in their own activities, no one had even appeared to notice us enter. Perfect.

Sunday Snog – Illicit Relations

“With pleasure.” Terry reached up and pushed his fingers into Justin’s thick blond hair—it was just as soft as he’d always imagined—and used it to pull the other man’s head down to his. Immediately their lips sought one another and Terry allowed himself to be carried away on waves of bliss as he kissed the man he was in love with. Even better, the man who loved him back.



He could still hardly believe it. But he’d have to get used to it quickly, as he had to find room in his brain, in his emotions, to come to terms with the fact that he was adopted. Then he had to speak with Justin about coming out together. The way he’d imagined it so many times, without being able to figure out if the family would be happy, indifferent or disgusted. His mum and dad were okay with it, though, and that was all that really mattered. They were the most important.



He shoved all such thoughts from his brain and just concentrated on the present. He moved his hands and mouth at the same time—his hands to roam up and down Justin’s muscular back, albeit over his T-shirt, and his mouth to wander down his jaw, covered with blond fuzz, and to tease and nibble the delicate skin of his throat.

2013 Round Up!

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and are looking forward to fun New Year celebrations. While I am looking forward to 2014 and what it will bring, I’d also like to reflect on 2013 and what I achieved. I don’t often blow my own trumpet, so it’s cool to remind myself of what I’ve done. Here are a few highlights, in no particular order:

I had a story accepted for Best Erotic Romance 2014, which is due for release in February 2014
I had a story published in  The Mammoth Book of Best New Erotica 12
I contributed to another non-fiction book – Teach Yourself Getting Started in Writing Erotic Fiction
I had two stories appear in charity anthologies – Coming Together: In The Trenches and Coming Together: With Curves , which I also co-edited with Victoria Blisse
My first novel was published – sort of. Grand Slam is a BDSM erotic romance co-authored by myself and Lily Harlem, an experience so fun it has spawned the Raw Talent series
I’ve had longer works published this year, including novel Grand Slam and novellas A French Affair , Mean Girls and Illicit Relations
I “won” NaNoWriMo with my novel, The Persecution of the Wolves. It’s not yet complete, but I’m hoping to finish it up very soon – it’s run much longer than I expected
The Brit Babes was founded. This group, which comprises of yours truly, Victoria Blisse, Kay Jaybee, K D Grace, Lily Harlem, Emmy Ellis, Lexie Bay and Tabitha Rayne is part support group (we help each other out, listen to each other’s gripes, spur each other on) and part Street Team, which is where we have a group of fabulous readers that help us get the word out about our books

My total publication count was 30, which includes print and eBooks. This is the same total as last year, but I’m definitely not beating myself up over that, because I’ve had much longer stuff released and have been working on more novellas and novels. I also don’t count reprints.

I also totted up my word count. This includes works not yet finished or submitted, as well as published works, and I achieved a whopping 377,041 words this year. I’m very proud of that, especially since I don’t write full-time, and I don’t even write every day.

All in all, it’s been an awesome 2013! I already have books lined up for 2014 so it’s already off to a promising start. I’m looking forward to it.

More About the Calendar Men Project

Hi everyone,

If you stopped by here or at ARe Cafe on Christmas Day (and if you didn’t, the link is here), you’ll know there was an exclusive reveal of a very exciting multi-author project.

Calendar Men is something that’s been in the pipeline for several months. Basically, there are twelve authors taking part, and each of us was assigned a month. We were to write an erotic romance novella set in that month, and what links each story is a charity calendar, in which our sexy male leads appear. Each book will release on the first day of the corresponding month. Decadent Publishing is the publisher.

I got June, so my story, The Other Brother, is set in June, as you may expect, in New York City. I’ve never been, so it took an awful lot of research to put the story together, but I think it was worth it. Thank God for Google Maps!
