This Feed Will Be Decommissioned
This is just a quickie note: I’m going to decommission this blog (and the Red Light Properties one) and consolidate everything to my Tumblr to make myself easier to keep track of.
I hope you’ll continue to follow me on Tumblr (I’ll be posting new work there today); you can follow which you can do by clicking the image or via RSS:
Thanks for all the follows over the years; I’m moving back to NYC in a few weeks and a whole new phase is about to begin. Let’s keep it rolling over at the new joint…

JFK & the Unspeakable
Forthcoming comics adaptation of the 2007 nonfiction book JFK & the Unspeakable: How He Died and Why It Matters by James Douglass, the book Oliver Stone called “the best account I have read of this tragedy and its significance.”
Adaptation written by Seth Jacobson and illustrated by myself.

Editorial Illustration
Over the last few years, I’ve drawn a lot of editorial illustrations for magazines like TIME, New York Magazine, Bloomberg Business Week and others. This year, my work was selected by Taschen Books for their ILLUSTRATION NOW! 4 series.
Here are some of my recent favorites:
Red Light Properties
Nearly a decade in the making, my haunted Miami real estate comic series is probably my single favorite piece of my own work. Still ongoing, Red Light Properties is now being published digitally by Monkeybrain Comics. Over 300 pages (and counting) of comics are available in English/Spanish/Portuguese for the web, iOS, Android and Windows Mobile via Comixology.
The story of a small family-owned exorcism & realty office on Miami beach, this series balances the supernatural of the Tobins’ workdays with the existential horror of a marriage on the rocks.
The Walking Dead Social Game
As Head Writer on AMC Television’s The Walking Dead social game on Facebook, I have the opportunity to form my own original gang of characters and set them loose in the iconic show’s zombie wasteland. Building character arcs and breaking them into gameplay-specific vignettes that try to break your heart as well as scare the shit out of you… it’s been a fantastic workout for my writer muscles to create emotionally-engaging stories in Facebook-friendly bites.

Toucannuí: Gringo Tales of Isolation in Urban Brazil
In late 2009, I left New York City for Brazil in search of… something else. This serialized travel-memoir is both an attempt to document what I found and a meditation on being a “global digital creative.”
Still a work in progress, as I’m writing this sentence from my bedroom in São Paulo.
Shooting War
My 2007 Eisner Award-nominated webcomic-to-hardcover graphic novel with Anthony Lappé cast a satirical eye on Big Media and its coverage of the War on Terror (as seen from 2011 at any rate). Garnering loads of national and international press while still a free webcomic, Shooting War became a hardcover graphic novel published in five languages and is currently in development as a TV series.
Editions are available in the UK (Weidenfeld & Nicolson), France (Arenes), Spain (Ponent Mon) & Italy (ISBN).
