Thanks from Alison Strobel

Hey there! I just wanted to say thanks to my fine blog hostess and to her readers. I have been really excited to see how many people are thinking of picking up the book because of the reviews they read during the blog tour. And thank you to everyone who entered the contest! I'll be drawing a winner on July 18 and posting it on my blog. If you haven't stopped by my blog or website yet, I hope you'll pop over sometime and say hi in the comments or on the guest book. Also, if you're interested i...

What I'm bringing to the ACFW Conference

Captain's Log, Stardate 07.08.2010

The highlight of my year is always the ACFW conference in September. It's my favorite conference for so many reasons, some of which are:

1) the friends I get to see there

2) the industry professionals I get to meet

3) the workshops

4) the nice hotel (I am SO not a "roughing it" girl. I need room service.)

I'm terrible at forgetting what to bring every year, so this year I figured I'd make a list. And I also thought it might be a useful list for other peop...

Click here to jump to the list of books I'll be giving away!

Okay, I admit the title of the blog post is misleading, but I get so many "What's a Street Team?" questions that I figured it would only cause mass confusion if I titled the blog post "Join My Street Team and Pick Your Book!"

I'm revamping and revitalizing my Street Team! This is my pet project for the rest of the year.

What's a street team?

Basically, i...

Vacation = diet down the tubes

I'm over at the Girls, God, and the Good Life blog today with some random thoughts on healthy living while on vacation:

I'm going on vacation and I'll turn into a blimp!

Camy here! And that's exactly what I was fearing the weeks before my vacation. I'm sure at least some of you can relate, yes?

Thinking of getting a Kindle or a Nook?

Now's the time to do it!

My agent and many of my friends have Kindles and love them. I have a Nook from Barnes and Noble and am partial to it, because I can buy ebooks from both BarnesandNoble.com and Fictionwise.com (which is a little cheaper) and read my ebooks on my Nook. The Nook now has a Wi-Fi only version ($149) that's even cheaper than the Kindle, and their 3G version (similar to the Kindle and the Nook that I have) is o...
