When my brain gets saturated and I can't move forward one one project - or even on one particular *aspect* of a project - I simply switch over to another. The system-neutral sourcebook for science fiction roleplaying games will allow gamemasters to take their players into the world of the book, pursuing their own stories in a rich and dynamic environment.

This collaboratively-designed setting weaves the imagination of ten writers into a multi-layered depiction of a foreseeable future, and raises questions about consciousness, reality, and what it means to be human. The anthology features short stories and prose by Niko Carcosa, Antony Copeland, Tod Davies, DeAnna Knippling, SL Koch, Shariann Lewitt, Kira Magrann, Adrian McCauley, T Reynolds, and myself.

A Patreon exists for anyone who wishes to help support the UbiquiCity project. Patrons get a look behind the scenes as the project develops, and higher level patrons will receive free copies of the sourcebook.

Tod liked an answer from T.G. Campbell:
T.G. Campbell
If I'm really not in the "zone" then I try to do other things that still contribute to the overall novel, e.g. research. If I write when I'm feeling "ugh" then I know I'd only end up going back and re-editing it later. I try to plan ahead as much as See T.G.’s answer.
Tod liked an answer about The Last Days of New Paris:
The Last Days of New Paris by China Miéville
The whole book is confusing, if you attempt to impose some kind of normal plot meaning to it. There is a plot, but the structure of the book is more closely linked to "irrealism" rather than straightforward fantasy; the logic of the story is complete See Chip’s answer.
Tod liked an answer about The Last Days of New Paris:
The Last Days of New Paris by China Miéville
The whole book is fairly confusing; honestly the blurb is the most straightforward and understandable part. Not that its a bad book, it's just... odd. Like the blurb says, it follows a man trying to survive in Paris, 9 years after the detonation of a See Combeferre’s answer.
Tod made a comment on Comparing Three UK OSR Games
" Fair enough. Great comparative review, btw. :-) "
