Buckling Down Gets 4.5 Ribbons!

It is officially time for a happy dance!

Wow. I just don’t know what more to say. Utterly speechless. And as those who know me well can attest, that is not an easy feat to accomplish. I had a pleasant little surprise awaiting me today when I popped onto the computer this afternoon. An email listing reviews for books from my publisher sat patiently waiting for me to read and scroll. I did not expect to see my beloved tale amongst the list of books reviewed, but there it was.  Courtesy of Romance J

Sitting Down with Levi McKenna~

Well, aergies are once again wreaking havoc on my head and leaving me very drained of energy. Joys of living in an area where I am allergic to nearly all pollen found in the region. So today I figured I would allow you to glimpse at an interview giving by Levi McKenna, the hero of Buckling Down. I hope you enjoy. Just so you know, this is a pre-book interview, so don’t be reading to find any spoilers. ;)

Levi swaggered into the Grand Lux Café at the Venetian Hotel and Casino, a ‘not-a-care-in-

How Buckling Down Came to Be~

I was sitting around, wondering what to blog about when I thought… hmmm a little peek behind the curtain of the great and not-so-powerful author mind. (Hey I resemble that remark!) Okay seriously moving on. There is no secret that my writing heart leans a bit farther towards the paranormal romance genre than any other, so to end up writing and contracting a contemporary western romance did take a few of my supporters by surprise. :p

Seriously, I was neck deep in a paranormal vampire/shifter stor

Tough. Taciturn. And a fool for letting her go…

Wild Ride story.

Wyoming rancher Quinn McKay thought he’d only have to bide time until his levelheaded wife came to her senses and called a halt to this “trial separation”. He never believed the marital rough patch would drag on for a coon’s age.

Libby McKay knew when she

What Inspires You?

This was a question that I thought I would throw out there after deriving some inspiration for a story I have in the back of my mind. Often times, as a writer, I find myself trying to work my way through the mind field of story ideas, pick the elements that will make a story unique and once in a while, I actually manage to share something with my best friend that makes her really excited. Why is this important? Because her excitement is what inspires me. It drives me forward when I feel like I a

If Life Were a Musical

I would like to think mine resembeled an eclectic mixture. Yes, here is where I show how much of a geek I am… or as I like to think… how much of my paternal grandmothers blood runs through my veins for she too had a deep love of both musicals an theater. This is a love that is actually shared by many of the women in my family.

Disney may have started it, but Grease pretty much sealed the deal when I was around ten. Now my tastes run from the aforementioned to titles like Guys and Dolls, Gentleman
