American Soldier~ MM

Today is a day where we remember the fallen soldiers, those who have given their all for this country and for us. No matter what your political views or feelings on the wars we have fought may be, one cannot undermine the sacrifice made by our men and women in uniform who have given the ultimate sacrifice. This music Monday is for them.

Zombie Awareness Month?

Why yes… there really is such a thing. You don't believe me go to the Zombie Research Society and check it out. That is right ladies and gents! I speak the truth. And to show my support… I am posting a video advertising the Zombie Haiku! Yes, everyone must indulge in haiku, especially when the living dead are involved. This book look hilarious and I plan on checking it out very very soon. Might even make a good gift idea for a fellow zombie lover. :)

Hello Ethan~

Long time no see. My love affair with Ethan Hawke started at a young age with the movie Explorers. Sad, yes I know but oh so very true. It was short lived at the time and was not rekindled until the movie Reality Bites  came out and the grungy looking Ethan stole my heart once more. I was reminded of such love affair fickleness when I watched him in Daybreakers. Ethan as a vampire? Surely that would equal hotness for me. Alas, my heart broke. Thank god for internet images of Hawke hotness...

Ignorance~ Music Monday

From the first Paramore song I heard, I was hooked. Here is one of my favorites off their new album. I'll possibly share my other with you next week, but I was in the mood for something a little more…rockin today I guess. ;)

Got Gyllenhaal?

Hi ladies, I am here yet again with another Humpday Hottie for you. I've always found Jake to be a McCutie… but in Prince of Persia, cutie has left the building and hot hunkiness has taken it's place. What do ya think?

To Be Continued~

Those very lovely words were recently typed as I reached the end of book one in my wolf/fae trilogy (or as some people like to call it… the No Furry Faeries Trilogy).  This book has been two years in the making and even though I am now working with my internal editor and preparing myself for some feedback from various sources, I am feeling very pleased with myself.

I think each book is an accomplishment, but I'll let you in on a little secret. I am very hard on myself when it comes to most...

Oh Leighton~

I do think I have found my next hero ladies. He is definitely putting the HOT in Humpday Hottie Day…even Playgirl agrees. And to make up for my failing to bring you mancandy last week… well Leighton Stultz gets a double photo spread. Any guesses as to what I may have slated for this hunka hunka burnin' love? ;)

But wait, there's more….

And I could give you more… but I am saving some of the um…..better ones for myself. I am greedy like that. happy Wednesday everyone!

Dropkick Murphys

Been listening to these guys a lot lately. In fact between them and the mix CD recently made for me, it is difficult to say which gets more airplay in my world. Anyways, Happy Monday and enjoy Music Monday brought to you by the Dropkick Murphys.

Shock Me Shock Me Shock Me~

With that deviant behavior! One of the best lines from the movie Empire Records.

Okay, really there is reason behind why I even mention that line. As in most cities, you can drive around and see a multitude of fashion statements out there. Piercings decorating the teens at the bus stop. Emo fashion in full swing with the dark clothes and skinny jeans (which I don't get as a fashion statement for guys). It makes me think back to the days when I loved Skater Boys. Oh I was a sucker for almost...
