Just Say No
So I am afraid we must JUST SAY NO to this prickly ass fruit www.thebump.com suggests is a good image for my Grandbump this week.
No big ugly prickly images for us – noper – warm, soft, cuddly images are those we chose to envision.
This is my newborn daughter, mother of the Bump. Her offspring will be beautiful and soft and not prickly like a Durian – whatever the hell that is – I just read it is a fruit with an offensive odor but a pleasant taste…….um…..not sure if I can think of the Grandbump in those terms either!!!
I may be done with the fruit and vegetable images – what do you think?

Jic (read HIC!)
This is supposed to be jicama. I have never seen jicama that looks like this. However, Baby Center says my grandbump is the size of a large jicama this week.
As we roll into week 32, this expectant grandma is relaxing a bit. There is only so much worrying I can do, and I shall expend my energies sending positive vibes to my daughter and little Jic this week.
I have unearthed a treasure my mother gave to me when my daughter was born and shall wrap it for the mother of little Jic(ama).
Spring is sprung in Spotsy and my grandbump shall be sprung in due course. 8 more weeks? 10 more weeks? 6 more weeks? Who is counting?!
