First I was a farm kid. I built barns and granaries with my dad, drove tractors, milked cattle, shoveled grain, and the rest. Then I was a college student, trim carpenter, cabinet maker, surgical tech at a Naval hospital, college student, writer, college student, county Red Cross director, college student, middle school science teacher (27 years), writer, and now blogger. I am ridiculously overeducated, and I loved every minute of getting that way.
During forty years, I have written nine novels. Jandrax was published by Ballantine and A Fond Farewell to Dying by Pocket Books. The latter was also published in German translation. My latest novel Cyan is coming out soon in e-book format from EDGE.

Hours had passed since his capture, hours of torture and humiliation, hours of being twisted into unnatural poses and dangled above the ground. Now the master-of-all was coming for him again, stumping along on two ungainly bowed legs, ready to once again demonstrate the inhumanity of a toddler with a tomcat.(less)
