DRAGONTIARNA: DEFENDERS Table of Contents
I’m finally far enough along with the editing of DRAGONTIARNA: DEFENDERS that you can see the Table of Contents below.
I kept rearranging the chapters while I was writing and editing both, so I finally settled on 28 total. Though as I look at this I think I might rearrange some of the chapters. Not Chapter 24, though.

The Five Protagonists of DRAGONTIARNA
I had emails from a few people who read MALISON: THE COMPLETE SERIES, continued on to DRAGONTIARNA: KNIGHTS, and were confused that the first few chapters were about Ridmark Arban and not Tyrcamber Rigamond. Fear not! Tyrcamber arrives in DRAGONTIARNA: KNIGHTS in Chapter 15.
And the DRAGONTIARNA series has not one main character but five. More value for your reading dollar!

Let’s Finish Playing SKYRIM!
Over the last four months, I finished playing BLOODSTAINED: RITUAL OF THE NIGHT on Nintendo Switch.
I’ve decided that the next game I finish will be THE ELDER SCROLLS V: SKYRIM.
Because I’ve had SKYRIM for nine years, and I still haven’t finished the main plot. Nine years! I mean, I really like the game, but I’ve never gotten around to finishing the main plot.
To be fair, a lot of things happened in those nine years. I moved like three times, and wrote something like a hundred novels, and a bunch of other stuff. I’ve played SKYRIM a lot, but I always keep wandering off on side quests, or I get distracted by a new game (like BLOODSTAINED) and play that for a while.
But nine years! It’s time to finish the main quest.

DRAGONTIARNA: DEFENDERS book description
What’s DRAGONTIARNA: DEFENDERS going to be about? Let’s have a look at the book description!
The realm of Andomhaim reels beneath the invasion of Warlord Agravhask, and Ridmark stands in his path.
Ridmark knows that Agravhask is only the servant of the mighty Warden of Urd Morlemoch, and the realm must be ready to face its true foe.
But the Warden knows that Ridmark can stop him, and has dispatched the Heralds of Ruin to slay the Shield Knight.
Third of Nightmane Forest has seen the trap, and rushes to save her friend.
If she fails, the Warden and his dark Heralds will triumph, and darkness will swallow the world…

DRAGONTIARNA: DEFENDERS rough draft done!
I am very, very pleased to report that the rough draft of DRAGONTIARNA: DEFENDERS is done!
129,100 words in 24 days. My daily word count varied wildly between 11,000 words and 500 words during those 24 days, but I had a lot of Real Life stuff going on during those three and a half weeks.

Finished BLOODSTAINED: RITUAL OF THE NIGHT!
It took me four months, but I finally beat BLOODSTAINED: RITUAL OF THE NIGHT!
Great game. Though I totally beat it through exploiting the rules. During the battle with the Final Boss (who, in grand Castlevania/Metroid tradition, transformed into a new and monstrous form halfway through) I kept running out of hit points, and you can only carry so many potions in the game. But! There are no limits to the number of food items you can carry, and prepared food items restore hit points as well.
So I used my entire game’s accumulation of gold to buy like 40 Pork Cutlets, and every time I ran low on hit points during the battle with the Final Boss, I ate a couple of them, got my hit points back up, and pounded on the Final Boss with a magical super-katana and the maxed-out Welcome Company shard until I won.
That said, it would be an extraordinarily difficult game to beat without a guide. For just one example, you need an item called the Aegis Plate to continue the game, and it’s almost impossible to find it without a guide. I used the guide at NintendoLife.com, which was really helpful.
But if you enjoyed the Castlevania and Metroid games back in the 90s, then you’ll definitely enjoy BLOODSTAINED.
I haven’t decided what game I will play next. Maybe it’s time to finally, finally finish the main plot of SKYRIM. I’ve been playing SKYRIM on and off for nine years, and I still haven’t finished the main plot. Perhaps the time has come at last.
