Missing?

Where in the world is Kerri these days?

Hello folks! Just realized that I haven't blogged here in forever and a day. I have been blogging but at my sister blog for my author promo biz The Book Boost. I've been trying to amp things up for my client authors and for my own book trailer business.

If you haven't checked it out, be sure to do so. Here's the link to the new blog. Click here to visit the Book Boost Blog. We have something for everyone there.

If you're a reader, you can find lots...

Finally...THE CALL!

So, for those of you who haven't heard my GREAT, FANTASTIC, AMAZING, THRILLING news yet...I GOT THE CALL! Yep, I've been wanting to utter (uh, type) those four words for years (make that 15+ years)!

Yes, I was already "published" in the true sense of the word BUT not with a full, industry recognized, book length fiction work that will be distributed worldwide. Therefore, despite my other available works...I still feel like a brand new author. How does it feel?

Well, in the immortal words...

All We Need is Love...and Books!

Cooper's New Shoes :-)

I'm in love. Yes, that's right. I'm in love with my new little boy...he's my little bundle of love and he's stolen my heart. Of course, I'm overwhelmed with all sorts of emotions and aches and pains and exhaustion but I'm still feeling the new mother glow.

On that note, I'd like to thank each and everyone of you dear people who left comments here at my blog or sent me e-mails to express congrats and well wishes on my new son. Your words meant so very much to me and s...

He's Here!!!!!!!!!!!

My baby boy is here and we are home and doing fine! Mommy is exhausted but so very happy & proud of her little hero! He's an absolute doll baby and his big sisters cannot stop kissing him! xoxo

I'll be online when I can but came home to about 4000 messages so it may take a bit to get caught up.

Love to all...

Got Baby? Call for Submissions--Non Fiction Book!

Alrighty then! I'm still here and baby boy is still camping out in Mom's comfy condo...gorging out on all the chips and salsa that I'm still consuming on a daily basis! So, no new baby news YET!

However, I have a new project that has just been given the GREEN LIGHT!

Being inspired by my 3rd (and FINAL) pregnancy...I've come up with a new book project that will be produced this year. I've been commissioned by a non-fiction publisher to write a book of real life birth stories. Have one you'd...

Babies, Teens & Everything In Between!

Happy Monday & I'm still hanging in here! Just wanted to pop by while on my "semi-hiatus" to give my friends an update. Yes, I'm still waiting on the arrival of my own little alpha hero. He's still hanging around in my big belly sized condo. Perhaps, the accommodations were too good to give up after all? I'll send along any new information as I know it. I'm having some good days and some bad days but the clock is definitely ticking...

In the meantime, I wanted to tell you about my new...

Heartbreak & Hiatus

Dear friends:

Due to some end of pregnancy complications and the emotional stress of my elimination from the 8 month long TextNovel Dorchester contest...I feel incredibly exhausted, disappointed and utterly heartbroken.

So, in order to recover both my mental and physical health...I will be on a semi-hiatus status until after the baby comes and my heart/mind/body recovers.

Thank you to everyone for your support and encouragement along the way.

Terrific Top Three Named @ Dorchester!

Well, folks...a lot to be thankful for in the New Year already! I've already received my first gift of the New Year by surviving the latest cut in the Dorchester contest and only 4 more days until the Top Two are announced.

Over the holidays I finally had a chance to read all the other finalist entries and I really enjoyed each and every one of them. Despite the fact that the Top 3 remaining entries are all of the paranormal genre, they are really surprisingly different.

Seeing what happens...

Fab Four, A Fan Letter & Some Elf Humor, Too!

Happy Holidays...my first Christmas wish already came true! Hope your Christmas season is shaping up just as swell.

Of course, I haven't gotten all my shopping, baking, or wrapping done...BUT I did survive the latest cut in the Dorchester contest making me one of the FAB Final Four! Woot!

So, I made this little Christmas tree #4 to celebrate and I want to share a couple of cool things with you as well.

They won't be announcing the Top Three until January 4th so I have 16 more days to sweat...

A Toot, A Tweet & A Tour!

For those of you who haven't heard (and I can't imagine there is anyone left who hasn't--since I've been shouting it from the rooftops since Friday), I'm one of the proud authors to make it to the Final Five of Dorchester Publishing's America's Next Best Celler Contest that has been ongoing via Text Novel.com since June of 2009!

This is HUGE for me and the other finalists who've toiled through votes, comments, round after round of eliminations, perfecting our cover copy, and waiting and...
