Mugshot Monday

Every mug in my cupboard tells a story. This one arrived with my husband's Aunty B and Uncle Alan from Dublin. The reason I remember it so clearly is we lived in Anstruther at the time, in the top two floors of a terrace row. Three bedrooms, a young baby, two dogs. However, being only a few miles from St. Andrews made us prime accommodation for the Open Championship, so we somehow managed to house an extra eight adults and I presume at least another three, possibly four dogs, for as long as the golf was on. Good times.

It must have been the year 2000. How time flies!!!

Mugshot Monday

This beauty was bought for me in a weird shop in Stirling last December (2012) by my sister-in-law. It went with a variety of chilli chocolates she bought me for Christmas. Even though I'm a card-carrying member of the Chocoholics' Society, trust me, the mug was better! Sorry, Jill!

Just for a bit of fun and as a reminder that my poor blog is much neglected, I'm going to try and post weekly pictures of my mugs!
'Hardly exciting' I hear you say. And yet, all my mugs tell a story.
This beauty is only a couple of years old (okay--four!). Can you read what it says on the handle? BAMFIELD (think DANGEROUS WATERS & DARK WATERS)! I bought this on our first trip out there from the General Store on Bamfield west. The cabins we stay in are well stocked but have those small teacup-sized mugs they use in hospitals. Not much use for someone who drinks 15 gallons of tea a day. I hate and detest travel mugs so I had to make a purchase :)

I know you're dying to know who's on Mugshot Monday next week. I figure this could take me about a year to get through. I don't know whether to be horrified or proud of my mug cupboard :) 

Quick Update--February

I'm trying to find time to update my blog template. I had a bunch of issues with the dynamic template but I haven't had time to clean up sidebar since I switched it back to a simple template, let alone actually blog. Apologies.

Winter is not a great time for me to chat. I basically moan about the weather for four months. Sad, but true. (Follow me on Facebook and I can prove it!)

So what has February wrought? A few publishing decisions that have taken a massive burden off me. Bottom-line is it means I'll release more new books faster, which readers seem to want. And the reason I have so little time right now is I'm writing them LOL. More information about my new series will follow shortly.

Other news. My lovely boxed set will be removed from sale at the end of February.
