🏆 Celebrating!! 🍾🏆
I am so thrilled to announce that COLD & DEADLY won the Daphne du Maurier Awards for Excellence in Mystery and Suspense in the Long Romantic Mystery/Suspense category! It also came fourth in the National Excellence in Story Telling (NEST) Contest! It was beaten in that contest by COLDER THAN SIN 
I am ridiculously pleased that both these books won something.

Special Anniversary Hardback Edition. Limited Time Only.
It’s incredible to realize Alex Parker and Mallory Rooney first debuted in A COLD DARK PLACE seven years ago this month. That one book has now grown to a 10-book series with a 4-book spin-off series! Although Alex and Mallory aren’t in every book, their relationship continues to grow and adapt throughout. My favorite cameos are when they pop up as secondary characters in Cold Secrets and then again when they feature front-and-center in A Cold Dark Promise (their wedding novella (okay, technically a novel!) with a bioweapons subplot, because of course there was!). Then Mallory has their baby in Cold & Deadly (argh!!). I haven’t made it easy for either of them, but I love that their relationship has stood up to all the tests I’ve thrown at them so far.So, when I say A COLD DARK PLACE is very special to me, I mean it. Don’t miss your chance to grab it now, LOL!!!Of course, I now have zero rank which means I am starting from scratch in the Amazon algorithm machine against millions of other book titles. I can’t tell you how much money I have spent on the book launch and subsequent advertising to gain traction on the vendor and gather pertinent “also boughts” etc etc. This whole situation has been incredibly stressful to me.Being a successful self-published author is about much more than writing a book. We wear so many different hats, creator, publisher, metadata and data analyst, advertiser, marketer. That’s just some of them.I hope people get legal advice before they throw around inaccurate take down notices, the way I have done to fight it. I know this could crush some authors (financially and mentally).Okay, that’s all I’m saying on the subject right now, except if you enjoy Romantic Suspense and want to read about my hero, Max Hawthorne and heroine, Lucy Aston, then now might be a great time to pick it up!!!Thanks for all the support people have given me in public and private. I appreciate it!!

Cold Cruel Kiss hit by TM issue.
Apologies for the fact COLD CRUEL KISS isn’t available right now on Amazon (and who knows where else?). An author with the same name as the lead character has filed a TM infringement action and I am trying to sort it out as quickly as possible.
I’ve also taken the book webpage down for now, simply because I don’t want this author going after my website. My writing is my income. I work hard. I have never heard of the guy. I’m not exactly happy right now. I will let you know when Cold Cruel Kiss is available again.
