Colin Templeman, an electrician by trade, could never be described as a rags to riches story by any stretch.
Author of Parkie Life - A memoir tracing his journey from adversity to self-discovery during the first two decades of his life in the 1960's and 70's. He describes himself as just an ordinary bloke who wanted - and to a certain extent needed - to write a book. Not as a vanity project but primarily for his kids. An enduring insight into his early years that the photo album alone will not provide. And 'Parkie Life' was his way doing that. The jury is still out as to whether it's of interest to the wider public.
