Two San Fransico school teachers are now fighting for their jobs after they were secretly recorded talking about LGBTQ student outreach. A conservative writer wound up with a recording of the conversations and it only made matters worse.

When Rev. Gene  Robinson wasn’t allowed to participate in a global Anglo gathering because he’s gay, Desmond Tutu was the only person who came to Robinson’s defense. 

“Gene Robinson is a wonderful human being, and I am proud to belong to the same church as he,” Tutu wrote in the foreword to a book Robinson published that year.
