Here's more about what's been happening in Chechnya.
The group says it has received more calls from Chechnya in the last 72 hours. And it says they contained credible evidence that arrests are happening again.
It has been over three months since the persecution of more than 100 gay men began.
State Authorities hunted down, arrested, and tortured men because of their sexuality. Many were reportedly incarcerated in concentration camps...

When I post about these things I don't necessarily believe the person who makes comments like this is throwing shade at gay people. I'm not offended by it; I'm used to it. I actually think it's innocent. I'm only pointing out how little straight people know about gay people and gay culture, and suggesting that straight people shouldn't try to "splain" what it's like to be gay...especially when they are getting paid to play a gay...

I finally had a chance to see I Am Michael, with James Franco playing the gay character, Michael Glatze, and I didn't hate it.
In short, it's based on a true story about an openly gay activist-dreamer-screwed-up-gay-guy who goes off the deep end and winds up identifying as a straight Christian preacher.
I wanted to see it because I'd heard so much about it...forever. I also like to see Franco in action. Franco is supposedly straight but he's always been eag...
