Clay Aiken Apologizes For Supporting Trump; Gay-Hating Neo-Nazi Sobs; Major Character NOT Returning To Will and Grace

Clay Aiken Apologizes For Supporting Trump

This is something I've been seeing all over the interwebz lately. Gay Republicans who once supported Trump are backing off and even, in some cases, offering apologies. It only stands to reason. Based on Trump's tweets alone about a transgender ban in the military, that should be enough to turn any gay person who understands discrimination off Trump.

Now, Clay Aiken has issued an apology for ever defending Trump in the past, calling #45 “actually racist...

Don't Dare Compare Confederate Flags to Rainbow Flags; ISIS Throwing Gay Man Off A Roof; Anti-LGBT In Indonesia

Don't Dare Compare Confederate Flags to Rainbow Flags
This makes me as livid as when they compare gay marriage to abortion. They do that all the time and the two are not related at all. Some idiot on Fox news tried to compare the Confederate Flag to the Rainbow Flag in a lame attempt to prove a point, but she failed. The Confederate Flag is not a symbol of the fight for equality that took years to achieve. The Confederate Flag means something completely different and it's idiotic to compare it...

Protesters Attack Confederate Statue

This goes a lot deeper than statues. I hate censorship of any kind, but what these statues represent, evidently, stirs up so many emotions on both sides of the spectrum it's hard to draw an amicable conclusion.

The statue represented a Confederate soldier who fought in the Civil War and had “The Confederate States of America” inscribed on its front.

WNCN spoke to at least one protester who said the action was taken in response to the violent white supremacis...

People Charging Fans On Twitter To Follow Them

Yesterday I spotted someone I follow on Twitter doing something I'd never seen before. And I don't know how long it's been around. He tweeted something with the hashtag, #onlyfans, and I clicked a link that led me to a twitter page where this person is charging fans to "follow" him. $10 a month. I know that doesn't sound like much, but seriously, It's Twitter. WTF is up with charging fans?

First, Twitter like most social media is free to use. You d...

Millennial Snowflakes and Queer Culture

I'm not sure what to make of this one, so I'm not even going to think about commenting. I'm only commenting on one point, below.

“Queer culture. Is it endangered? Gasping its last? Just sad?” that’s what Cynthia Belmont, a professor at Northland College, wants to know.

Belmont teaches courses in feminist and queer theory. In a new op-ed published by Salon, she says in the last few years, she’s seen an uptick in students who seem to take offense at th...

Is Gay Culture Harming Straight Men? An App For Trash Talking Your Friends; Aaron Carter Weeps At Gay Club

Is Gay Culture Harming Straight Men?

Of course that's rhetorical, but there really is a conservative who believes that gay culture has harmed straight men. But then again, I've seen a lot of outrageous (and wrong) things from conservatives ever since Trump tweeted about transgenders in the military, most of which I've read on Facebook. They look at LGBT people with the limited knowledge they have learned from the media and Hollywood, but not as their equals. And they treat us differently.

Once...

Trans Woman and Husband Sue Amazon

This kind of thing really bothers me, to the point of spitting nails lately. I think it was Trump's discriminatory tweets about the transgender military ban that infuriated me the most...to reach this point. And the misinformation about transgender people that have followed his tweets are repulsive. Trump gave idiots permission to promote idiocy.

This couple only wanted to work for Amazon because they thought it was LGBT friendly. Evidently, not so much.

The...

The Tom of Finland Biopic; Big Brother Mocking Trans People; Transgender News: Amazon's Transparent Premiere On August 9th

The Tom of Finland Biopic

In the course of any given day I think most people in the LGBTQ+ community experience some kind of disappointment. But then a friend comes along and shares something like this and you feel energized all over again. This is about gay culture at its most intense, and I'm proud of it. I applaud it without apology, and I don't care what anyone else thinks about that.

I've been waiting for the Tom of Finland biopic since I first heard about it, and when I saw this review I...

Trump and Peter Thiel

I have to admit that it's interesting to see how gay Trump supporters are reacting to the decisions Trump has been making with respect to the LGBTQ community.

But a new article in Buzzfeed suggests that Thiel is disillusioned with Trump. The article cites anonymous friends and associates who say that on half a dozen occasions over the course of several months, Thiel derided the Trump administration as “incompetent” and said that “there’s a 50% chance that this whole thing...

Trump Transgender Military Ban Now Official Policy; Shot Dead While Defending His Gay Friends; Aaron Carter Comes Out As Bisexual

Trump Transgender Military Ban Now Official Policy

I find the entire concept of a military ban like this vituperative at best, and there's no argument anyone can give me to support it. Not one, so don't try. It's outright discrimination and it's coming from the highest office in the land. With that said, here's an article that discusses the legalities involved.

As noted by The Guardian, Trump’s declarations on Twitter don’t have any legal power. But the content of those tweets has been made int...
