There's a new interview out with Porowski in Buzz Feed, and among other things he talks about erotic asphyxiation.

Here's a story that talks about how presidential hopeful, Pete Buttigieg, never reads anything in the gay presses.
“I am what I am, you know, and there’s going to be a lot of that,” Buttigieg said. “That’s why I can’t even read the [LGBTQ+] media anymore because it’s all: ‘Too gay, not gay enough, wrong kind of gay.’”

I'm just seeing this myself. RuPaul made a few comments, allegedly about trans people doing drag, and now he says they are being taken out of context.
Asked by the Sunday Times whether he still holds the view that drag cannot be done by women, cis or trans, RuPaul replied, “Why are people obsessed with that question?” and complained that his quote was taken “so out of context”.

This is big news for gay authors and gay history. Gay author James Baldwin's New York apartment is now officially on the list of designated historic landmarks. I've posted about Baldwin here on the web site more than once. If you don't know anything about Baldwin you can check that out, here.
I think Baldwin is one of my own top ten favorite authors of all time.

Resist going into reasons as to why you’re not interested in someone, as it may come across like you’re criticizing them. You’re not interested, so leave it at that.
Maybe it's me, but saying you're not interested in someone sounds a little harsh, too. I guess there's nothing...

Bowen Yang was recently added to SNL, and I'm thrilled for him. I think it's wonderful and even though I'm not familiar with his work, good for him. However, I am not going to send praise or thanks to SNL for hiring a Gay Asian comic, especially since SNL has been notoriously homophobic over the years. This is from the Boston Globe in March 2018.
