Special Endorsement – New 2023 Book
Have you heard about the new book coming out in June 2023, Captured by Love: Inspiring True Romance Stores from Vietnam POWs? Check out this early endorsement from our friend, Pam Godfrey Younker, Air and Space Forces Civic Leader, and Community Development Officer at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation
My favorite resource on leadership is Lee Ellis book, Leading with Honor. The concepts in the book, coupled with Lees experiences as a Prisoner of War, make the book both impactful and useful in leading in all walks of life.
When I heard about Lees new book, written with Greg Godek, Captured by Love: Inspiring True Romance Stories from Vietnam POWs, I immediately wanted to read it. These stories are powerful and provide an opportunity to get to know the men who were Prisoners of War and/or declared Missing in Action in Vietnam. It also allows us to become acquainted with the women who waited for them or met them later. This was not a short-term event, it took years during incredibly challenging, painful times!
What made these people different? What strengthened them? What does their love look like? These questions and more are answered in this book. Almost 50 years later, I am thankful to hear the stories, be encouraged, and finally know the couples who made such a difference in American history!
Read two sample stories from the book, and sign up to get updates about the books release.
