On this day in leadership history in 1998, New York Yankees pitcher David Wells became the 13th player in modern major league baseball history to throw a perfect game. Did he do it solely on natural ability? Not a chance. His natural abilities combined with his learned experiences, his ability to manage his emotions, as well as some elements were completely out of his control helped David achieve this feat!
