Sequel thoughts
Following on from When Things Go Bang, I am bringing out my memoir of the international broadcast industry, in which I visited over 30 different countries and saw life and death in its glory and horror.
It has taken me a long time to put together because first, it's pretty big, at over 100,000 words; and secondly, I have been reaching out to those who were part of my journey to see if they would contribute.
I have started work on a sequel for WTGB though. Again it is set in a split time period, but instead of 1959/1942, it will be 1959/1962, and Jim will find his future self visiting, in an attempt to reverse disastrous decisions made by his dad - decisions that have resulted in Jim's family reduced to penury and living in a driftwood hut in the dunes.
