A Good October Read

I've been so focused on my new short story The Witch's Moon, I nearly forgot about The Kindred Spirits Mystery - Book #3 in An Oscar the Doxie Detective series. A fun short read perfect for a chilly October evening.

It is October in Happy Hills Arizona and strange things are happening. We're talking about things that go bump in the night.

Oscar and the Happy Hills Canine Detective Club work to solve a century old mystery involving a stagecoach robbery and a missing strongbox heavy with gold and silver. Oscar's patience is tested as he must rely on "spirits" to save his Sara from harm.

*Contains mild paranormal activities.*

This is book 3 in the Oscar the Doxie Detective Mystery Series. The main mystery is solved in each book. You will enjoy the stories more if you read the books in order as some story lines thread from book to book.

Happy Reading!

First Published Short Story

I was reading something on the internet a few weeks back and immediately thought it would make a good Halloween story. It was talking about how a full moon on October 31st is called the Witch's Moon.

I started writing an outline and somehow Oscar, the main character in my Oscar the Doxie Detective mystery series, seem to fit into the story perfectly.

This is the first short story I've published. Honestly, I think writing a short story is more difficult than writing a novel. BUT I had so much fun writing it, I'm pretty sure I'll tackle another one.

You can read more about Oscar's adventures on the night of the full moon and grab your Kindle copy here: The Witch's Moon: A short Story
