Our traveling companion was Ted Naifeh, the amazing creator of Courtney Crumrin!
So many Kouign-Amann so little time! These local Bretagne desserts are pure butter and sugar perfection!

Off to France!
I’ll be hanging out with Raina in France at the Quai des Bulles in Saint Malo. When I’m not out discovering new pastries I’ll be hanging around the Akileos booth, so if you are in town be sure to say Bonjour!
Explorer: The Lost Islands
I’m super excited about the release of Explorer: The Lost Islands!
This book is beautiful! You have to see a copy of the hardcover in person! I wrote a 16-page story for this anthology called “Desert Island Playlist”, which was illustrated by my wife Raina Telgemeier and colored by Braden Lamb (who is also coloring her new book Sisters!).

I had a fantastic time at the Alternative Press Expo this year!
This kid dressed as the 11th Doctor was nice enough to recommend Astronaut Academy to another kid checking it out.
This was APE’s final year at the beautiful Concourse Exhibition Center (supposedly it’s getting torn down to make room for condos?).

Love & Comics: Working with a Spouse
