I would invite friends over to write stories together, but they didn't always go along with it and I'm the only one in the neighborhood who stuck with it. (Who knows what literary genius we're missing because they quit too soon!) Whe...

BOOK REVIEW: "Outlive Your Life" by Max Lucado (& Book Giveaway!)

I needed this book to jump-start me out of my rut. It isn't enough to merely exist on this journey through life. We live in a hurting world, and we can make a difference.
Here's a simple snippet that spoke to me:
None of us can...

Computer Down, Don't Know When I'll Be Back Online
Hi folks,
Just wanted to let you know that Saturday night my computer came down with a very nasty virus. So nasty that I can't get online or access my files.
Anyway, I'm at hubby's office to let everyone know the issue. Please feel free to leave a comment on any of the posts, but know that I may not respond for several days.
I'll have to wait until my computer is out of the shop before I can handle giveaways. The only posts will be the ones that have already been scheduled.
I apologize to...

BOOK REVIEW: "One Hand, Two Hands" by Max Lucado

I not only enjoyed reading this book, but I especially approve of the underlying message.
