It's a Little Bit Chilly...
There was a snowflake or two last week....the first (and, maybe, only of the season). I woke up every hour during the night, when I should have been sleeping, just to check and see if it was accumulating. One of my best memories is being a little girl growning up in New Hampshire. At the very moment of the first snowfall of the season, my father would celebrate it with me, often waking me during the night, so we could have cookies and milk and watch the snow fall from the sky. I had hoped to do this with little Enzo last week. It never materialized into much at all, so I didn't wake him. Yet, still, at 7am he was up and dressed and looking for mittens to go make "something" out of the "barely-noticeable" dusting of the snow. He did.
I've looked at the forecast for this week. No snow. Shucks. And there SHOULD be...as the forecast calls for 18 degrees! I know...a heat wave for some of you...but chilly for me. To celebrate the snow, or just the chill...
