Satellite Sisters covers the gamut from women in the workplace to drama in the skies to a first date. Yeah, Satellite Sisters Of The Week: Congrats to the astronauts who executed the first ever all-female space walk and to Ann McClain, the woman left behind who cheered them on. Personally, we would have behaved more like Aidy Bryant on the SNL skit.
According to McKInsey and Fortune Magazine, what’s between you and that last big promotion? It’s not getting that first big promotion. They call it “the broken rung” and it appears to be the biggest system barrier to gender parity.
Liz visited the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, DC.

Who is sticking up for Meghan Markle? We are. Hang in there, sister.
The latest fights on planes? Julie says it’s about the window shades now and she’s got some rules.

Read Circe by Madeline Miller.
Just catching up on Succession? Us, too. Liz and Sheila have Succession confessions.
Guest coming up next week: Laura Holson, NYT journalist and creator of The Box Sessions, on how to kick-start your own creativity.
