Special Valentine's Day!
I just returned from my first-ever TV interview with Cherry Johnson of the Watauga Arts Council on Mountain Television Network in Boone. The interview will air tonight at 5:30 pm EST. I’m pretty sure you can access it at 5:30 pm EST from their Website at http://www.mtn18.com/. If not, I will be sending a link to the video after it airs. I cannot thank Cherry enough for making this first experience so easy for me.
Carol Upton’s wonderful review of Tales has been posted on “BarkleyAndPaws.” This is a great Website for animal-lovers. Please check it out at: http://www.barkleyandpaws.com/tales-o...

Lessons in Flexiblity!
Late Thursday, I received a last-minute invitation to sign books at a reception hosted by the Watauga Arts Council in Boone. I was also asked to do an early morning radio interview highlighting the event. This turned out to be two interviews both of which lasted longer than usual. I think my animal communication & healing work and my books caught the attention of the two radio hosts. I want to thank Cherry Johnson for the opportunity to be interviewed this morning.
I will be at the Jones House on Kings Street in Boone tonight, Sat. Feb. 3rd from 6:30 – 8 pm, signing books during the Watauga Arts Council’s reception. Please stop in to enjoy the two new art exhibitions that are being featured. I’ll be set up in the parlor, so come by and visit!

First Interview of 2012!
I want to thank Gina McKnight for posting my first interview of this New Year on her lovely blog, “Famous People.” Not sure how famous I am, but I hope you enjoy it regardless. http://www.gmcknight.com/blog/2012/01...
My friend Wendy Garrett, who I wrote my weekly column, Animal Insights, for, has posted Carol Upton’s wonderful review of Tales of an Animal Communicator ~ Master Teachers on “PetSense.com.” http://petsense.blogspot.com/
Please enjoy these while I head to check on Stormy. I hate that he’s so far from me for the winter, but he’s at a wonderful place, well-cared for, and happy. You know we animal-lovers, as long as the critters are happy…

Time Marches On
It’s so hard to believe another year has come and gone. 2011 gave birth to my second book, Tales of an Animal Communicator ~ Master Teachers. Although the animals whose stories are shared in it waited a long time for it’s arrival, I think they’ll agree it was worth the wait. I was blessed to work with many wonderful animals and their people in 2011. While some were ready to make their transition back to Spirit, most others chose to remain with their people. Being able to help animals and people better understand one another is so rewarding. Enhancing their relationships through better understanding gives me such satisfaction. I must admit, though, that I feel my most significant contribution happens while assisting individuals that are beginning their journey back Home. To be able to help at this difficult time is a gift that I cherish.
2011 allowed me to return to what I consider the most beautiful spot in the world, Banff & Jasper Parks in Alberta, CAN. I returned to my Blue Ridge Mountains (also beautiful) renewed from two weeks bathed in the most spiritual & healing energy Mother Nature has to offer. I felt blessed to be able to visit there once again.
I want to thank everyone who has allowed me to assist them with their animals’ challenges this past year. I also want to thank those who have felt guided to purchase Tales thereby helping me make donations to my local Humane Society, Noah’s Wish, and The Wild Horse Sanctuary. I am filled with gratitude. I look forward to working with many more animals and their people in 2012 fulfilling my mission to help heal the human-animal bond. I hope 2012 brings you everything your heart desires in an easy way. May your New Year be healthy and joy-filled!

Merry Christmas!
Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday. May it be quiet, all that you hoped for, and spent with those you love. Hana, Saba, and I are spending the rest of Christmas Eve putting the final touches on my new artificial tree. Finally laid the old one from my farm to rest. It served me for well over 12 years! Unlike the last two Christmases in my NC mountains, this will not be a white one. Having Christmas dinner with dear friends at a lovely place in Blowing Rock; the Green Park Inn. I’m so grateful that those Christmases spent alone are behind me now. Merry Christmas and ho ho ho!
