What on earth is going on for Nottinghamshire? They started the day on 29 for 1, and now they’re 33 for 4. Keith Barker has gobbled up the lot. He’s got 4 for 12, with Steven Mullaney out for 2. They’re replying to 226 in the second innings.

Glamorgan have slipped to 288 for 8 in the first innings, but Byrom is still there batting with the Dutch master Timm ver der Gugten.

1st quarter, 4 minutes remaining: Naughton takes another sensational mark, this time all the way up on the wing, back with the flight and stealing it from the opponent camped under it. It travels quickly forward, where Vandermeer tries to dodge Lycett in the pocket but gets absolutely mashed. Down the other end, Boak gets a set shot and misses it left. Then Dixon gets a shot on his left foot from the boundary line, right forward pocket near the 50, and misses all of it. Port have at least got into the contest late, even without scoring.

Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games: closing ceremony – as it happened

The 16th Summer Paralympic Games are at a close after 12 days of action in Japan

There were seven gold medal badminton matches today across men and women, singles and pairs, and classes. Two went to China, two to Japan, one each to Indonesia, France, and Hong Kong.

Seven bronze matches, too. The one in which our British readers will have most interest went to Krysten Coombs, the Brighton lad who beat his Brazilian opponent in the SH6 men’s singles.

Tokyo Paralympics day 10: athletics, wheelchair basketball and more – as it happened

It was a fascinating day in Tokyo, where Great Britain became the first country in history to win medals in 16 sports at one Paralympics

Staying with Donohoe, he’s given an emotional interview post-race, revealing that he was riding for his friend Will, who died by suicide two months ago.

He said on Australian broadcaster Channel Seven:

Today wasn’t my day. I mean, you can’t control it. I love racing and this is it. I spent the last lap fighting back tears. This race for my mate Will.

I’ve been holding it together up to the Games. I wanted to dedicate this one to him, and to my housemates back home.

County cricket: Hampshire hold on for draw against Yorkshire

Hampshire’s last stand ensured they earned a draw, despite Yorkshire surrounding the bat in the hope of taking the final wicket

Archie Lenham is out for Sussex, they’re 259 in front and 7 down against Worcestershire.

Northants have lost Tom Taylor for 8, lbw Higgins. Which means that Milo Kerrigan is at the crease, 2 not out, his team 236 ahead with two wickets left. It’s a good day for discarded Test spinners to be 2 not out.
