Gamebook Friday: Alice in Bulgaria and Dracula in Hungary
The Bulgarian edition of Alice's Nightmare in Wonderland is now available to preorder courtesy of GENY-Gamebooks.

I love seeing how overseas publishers either commission their own cover artwork, or use different examples of Kev Crossley's illustrations, or even just the same cover as the UK edition.

The Hungarian edition of Dracula: Curse of the Vampire is almost ready to go as well. In this case, Chameleon Comix used the same cover are as Snowbooks did on the UK edition but with a slightly different arrangement of image and text.

Secrets of Salamonis on Mythical Tales From Edra
If you enjoy live readthroughs of adventure gamebooks you will want to join Ken Boyter this evening, at 6:00pm on the Mythical Tales from Edra Twitch channel, as he will be performing a readthrough of Secrets of Salamonis, the Fighting Fantasy gamebook I wrote with Steve Jackson.

And then the following evening, Julian Sparrow will be back on his Twitch channel at 9:30pm tackling RONIN 47 for the second week in a row.

In both cases, it is YOU the viewers who get to help decide which way to go, which monsters to fight, and which perils to risk. And if you have yet to purchase a copy of the aforementioned adventures yourself, simply click on then images below to rectify that situation.

Short Story Saturday: Shakespeare Vs. Cthulhu
Shakespeare Vs. Cthulhu is an anthology of short stories inspired by the works of Stratford's most famous son and the literary endeavours of cosmic horror master H. P. Lovecraft.

Shakespeare Vs. Cthulhu includes stories by the likes of Adrian Tchaikovsky, Graham McNeill, James Lovegrove, Jan Siegel, Andrew Lane, Jonathan Oliver, and John Reppion. So, if you've not already picked up a copy, do so today and treat yourself to what one reviewer called "a fun concept, that delivered on its premise."
And if you have read the book, a review on Amazon is always much appreciated.

Gamebook Friday - Moon Knight: Age of Anubis
Today's big news is... I've written a Marvel: Multiverse Missions gamebook, as announced on the Aconyte Books website today. Here's the cover blurb.
When N’Kantu, the Living Mummy, escapes his sarcophagus and steals an artifact that turns swaths of mankind into zombies, Moon Knight steps in to save the day… But is hampered by an eager Egyptologist whose choices seem to influence his personalities and strengths. As Moon Knight and the Egyptologist chase N’Kantu from the streets of New York to navigating traps, tricks, and riddles within an ancient temple in Egypt, the two uncover an evil ritual that will begin a battle between gods over the power of life and death. Only the Egyptologist holds the key to unraveling the dark plot… everybody’s lives are in their hands!

I was approached to write the third title in the Marvel: Multiverse Missions series last September, having previously supplied technical assistance on the first two books, You Are (Not) Deadpool and She-Hulk Goes to Murderworld.
I was delighted when I was offered multiple super heroes to choose from to be the focus. I subsequently wrote up three different proposals and the one which everyone liked the most, including Marvel, was Moon Knight: Age of Anubis. This makes it the second gamebook I've written inspired by the mythology of Ancient Egypt - the first, of course, was Curse of the Mummy.
The book will be released in the US on 5th September 2023 and in the UK on 23rd November 2023.
