Sophizo review received! "A Good-read for those seeking wisdom and self-empowerment"
"As I delved into 'Sophizo' by Aegelis, I was struck by the profound insights it contained. The book beautifully explains the importance of wisdom and instruction, as well as the value of making mistakes and learning from them. The author's emphasis on helping teenagers understand the significance of creating happiness and satisfaction is truly commendable, as it sets them up for a fulfilling life.
One of the most inspiring aspects of this book is the author's call to give time to those in need. It is a reminder that we should all strive to make a positive impact on the world around us. The importance of prayer is also discussed, and the book stresses how it can provide peace and protection from the chaos of the world.
Perhaps what I appreciated most about 'Sophizo' was its message of self-empowerment. The author emphasizes that each and every one of us is worthy of self-respect, respect from others, fair treatment, peace, and freedom. This is a message that we all need to hear, and it is delivered in a way that is both powerful and uplifting."

Calvin in Quarantine, by Greg Brisendine
5.0 out of 5 stars Funniest Story I've Read in Decades!
Laugh out loud, as I literally did on a number of hilarious occasions. My wife detecting my unusual reaction to anything written asked, “What are you reading?” I explained, "It's like Paul Zindel and Douglas Adams mixed in with zombies" knowing she has read works by both. She asked, "Like Sean of the Dead?" I knew I married the right lady. What is so funny about zombies? Specifically the imagery Greg uses to describe the actions of friend and foe alike, coupled with all-too-real reactions of the people in the story. I would say ‘characters’, but there are no stereotypical hyperbolic caricatures performing Hollywood reactions like screaming and fainting in fright. Rather, the human minds kick in to high gear, survival instincts take over, and as absurd as their racing thoughts push them, our heroes make the most of the situation as any of us would. Fast-paced action, punchy (on many levels), fun, and very much relatable. This is amoung the best I have read, Vella or otherwise.

Before X (Lanna Ruik's Story)
I am seeing a pattern in the recommendations regarding X (Captain Ruik's Adventure). Although some suggestions I can incorporate into the current book, it may be beneficial to go with the proposition of a prequel.
Great world-building opportunity here as well as an easy 'carrot to catch' for me; the story framework is already written. Next would be to "fill in the blanks" while I get to jump up and down at the notion of completing the drama portion (without neglecting action, most certainly).
Topics that were asked for more detail include:
+ Lanna's time aboard the Grey Shadow. This might get very uncomfortably dark, but will be much easier to approach since we know how the story ends already
+ Specifics on how Lanna went from stowaway to captain of her own vessel
+ Isaac's background, dialogue and relationship to Captain Ruik, including previous history
+ More about Lyss
+ More descriptions and feelings, "tap into your inner artist". I think I can do this better with a backstory since the focus is on the character and setting rather than events
One idea was to include all of this into X (Captain Ruik's Adventure). With hesitancy, I say "yeah", and will likely create a double volume or extended version to accommodate.
There may be another re-write for X (Captain Ruik's Adventure) as well. Will look into additional comments to see what should be incorporated if so.
