The Memo—co-written with Lauren Mechling—is her first novel.

This was a beautiful book about the chasm between adults and children, and the lengths parents go to protect their kids. I loved the wise, but often misguided, narrator and found the story of the two sisters separated by illness to be heartbreaking. ...more
