Ok, so my son says, mom, let's watch Guardians of the Galaxy, I'm like, I'm really not into watching a movie tonight. He's like come on lady, just do it.I'm, like ok kid get it going.
You know -- mother son dialog, LOL.
I do love my superheros, Marvel, DC, it really doesn't matter.
I did like the movie, and I liked Groot. HeheheI laughed my butt of at the clip above. When he was re-growing.I thought, just like a kid to 'freeze' when an adult looks at them and then pick right back up again. You know they're thinking 'if I don't move, they can't see me' LOL.

The Office Wall Make Over - Part 3

OK, so...Grrrrrrrr Arrrrrrrrggggg!
I'm not a 'professional' painter by any means (if you can't already tell)
But I do like to paint and when I have an issue, it just ticks me off.My son says..."lady, calm,"  Love my kid!
So if you've seen the other office wall makeover pics, you'll see that I used the blue painters tape to make sure everything was straight and even to prevent this...(as I model the two pictures above with a wave of my hand) the 'feathering' or 'bleeding' of paint. Pee'd me off  --  like, BIG TIME!I'm like, I followed all the rules, had the painters tape, make sure it was secure and it still DOES NOT work.Of course I do have textured walls *Sigh* some days, I just feel like I can't win.
So I went out and bought some small brushes and my son is going to help me even out the bleeding. 
My husband says, I'm being to picky and looking at it to hard, it looks fine. (I think he stepped back when I shot him 'the' look LOL)
I'm like, it's not the way I want it and I'm the one who is in my office, so it's going to get straightened out. Grrrr. 
So I guess we'll see how much of a steady hand my a son and I have and how much I can muck it up Hehehehehe.

My passion vine has Fruited

Well, isn't that the cutest little thing :-)
I was out on my back patio and while the dog was looking for lizards to chase I noticed these things hanging from my passion vine.
I moved in for a closer look and found three little pods on the vine. So what do I do ... I went to the screen door to the house and called in to my husband. "Hey, there's little pod like things on the passion vine."His answer... "Yeah?"Of course it was during a March Madness game so that's about all I got from him LOL.
So the next day while home from the day job for lunch I Googled passion vine pods. I didn't like what I found so I went to YouTube and did the same and whoa and behold, they are the 'fruit' of the vine.

I was like really!! I've grown passion fruit!! How cool can that be.My son's like, we can eat those.I'm like, I guess so.He's like. When?I'm like. Good question.AND...I still have no idea. One of the workers from another site at my day job says he has them growing in his backyard to and they are good to eat. So I guess I'm going to have to call him tomorrow and ask how to tell when these things are ripe.


So we went from Buds to Flowers to Fruits!! I'm so excited.

Getting my Merrr-maid on -- with nail art

So I went and had my nails done yesterday. My nail artist Jen is awesome!! 
We decided to get my Mer on with some Mermaid nails.

I love how being a romance writer can emerge on my nails

My RWA chapter, The Sunshine State Romance Authors have a mermaid on the website as she is our mascot and we refer to our group as Mers.So I'm really getting my Mer on in several different ways. Us Mers have had some great opportunities come our way, so this Mer is burning the midnight oil with her writing.

I love having beautiful nails, not only are they professional and clean (You really do not want to see my nails under the pink and whites! :-/ yikes! ;-)  ) They do inspire me. I'll be typing away or writing and I'll catch sight of them and be like...that is so cool. 
Nail art before my Mer was a butterfly and prior to that was a peacock feather. I didn't grab a pic of the butterfly, but here's the peacock feather.
You know...it's much harder to take good pictures of your nails by yourself :-/    :-).
